http://www.buzzfeed.com/jimwaterson/how-many-football-grounds-have-you-been-to Bit of late afternoon Friday fun... I got 45 (not all for CAFC) so plenty left to see!!
Not been to many, got plenty of catching up to do once I graduate and can afford to go around the country, got like 14
Yes I have been to a number that don't exist any more, Highfield Road, Burnden Park, Ayresome Park, Plough Lane, Highbury, Maine Road and a number of others.
Watford fan in peace. Of those, definitely 34 including The Valley, possibly more. Due to my epilepsy, I'm not sure if I went to some of them. When I was younger, I hoped to do the 92 but it's virtually impossible to do now I live in Jersey. I've also been to a few that no longer exist - Vetch Field, Ninian Park, Manor Ground, Plough Lane, Ayresome Park, Underhill, Fellows Park, Highfield Road. I also went to Bath City's Twerton Park when Bristol Rovers played there. I've also been to a few grounds that are currently non-league - the Kennel (although next season it'll be a league ground again, unfortunately), Hemel, St Albans, Hereford, Merthyr, Pontypridd Town and I also went to Scarborough when they were a league club.
On my international travels I once roomed with a Massives fan who had been to all 92 grounds, plus every Scottish ground except one. His favourite ground was.....................................................................................Brechin City. A lot of this was due to the welcome he was given there.
Is it cheating that I put a few down without watching a game? I was up all night worrying about this.
55 current watching Charlton, plus a few no longer around including Maidstone Utd, Ayrsome Park (on a Xmas Eve !), Baseball Ground, Northamptopn's old ground that was made of Meccano etc PS; off to the Amex today
Did you go to the game at Ayrsome just before xmas when we lost 1-0 Fuchs? After being rained on with milk bottles I think I counted 36 of us that day!
