    Just had my first unedited view of the first 45 minutes of ManC v Saints from last week [no time for the second half - gotta go] Can't believe it. We were all over them for much of the half. Of course, I've seen the highlights and they paint a different story, and that blatant offside goal just knocked the stuffing out of us. Fonte doesn't get near Dzeko for the penalty, who falls over some phantom challenge a split second later. I cringed again when I saw Jay fall to the ground, and something seriously needs to be done when a game can be allowed to turn on a goal that's four yards offside. Of course, Rickie despatched our penalty with his usual aplomb. Even the commentator suggested there was really only one outcome before he even took it.

    I'm very proud of the lads.

    Popped back for another look at a few details, and Gazzaniga's distribution is bloody superb. Just watched him ping a ball out to Chambers, right on the touch line at halfway, and Calum didn't have to move as it hit his big toe.

    If Gazza could keep goal as well as he passes the ball he'd be the best keeper in the world by a mile. :)

    Won't be able to walk into any team anymore. He's not played competitively for ages. At 25 he has time though. Will he be given it..?

    I really cannot believe that Chelsea are allowing Courtois to play AGAINST them. He is such a talented goalkeeper and I have a feeling this is going to come back and bite Chelsea! Very hard.....

    I understand they have no choice now but not installing a clause in the loan contract initially was a big mistake.

    You're not allowed to install clauses relating to European competitions in a loan deal.
