I suspect it's going to make it a very quiet meeting.

Rooms all booked and paid for and all the members have been contacted by email and letter, I don't think moving it is all that practical, but we're discussing it at the moment.

Also official on sky sports website and the Live TV PL game listings.

Very happy about this one as i am going to the Ferriby v. Harrogate game anyway so no need to rush back to the KC now.

Happy days.

Well it has done.

PL have finally bowed to pressure to help our teams in the CL. The change also gives our boys an extra day after Wembley. Plus, Arsenal are playing West Ham @ home on tuesday 15th april which has been re-arranged from saturday 12th.!!!

Premier tiger - I must apologise for my curt and impolite remark. I was just annoyed that it could be re-scheduled. You were of course correct. I do find it so annoying that Sky dictate ok times so much. What about supporters who have tickets for the game and had planned a Saturday stopover, coming home Sunday, it kind of spoils things! I will be in Florida and was planning to find a bar for the game at 12.30 US time, now I will need to find a bar open on a Sunday at 9am, fat chance!

SKY haven't dictated this. Chelsea requested the change to help their CL attempt. If that hadn't happened SKY wouldn't have asked for the switch round to keep up the amount of games they have a contract, at great expense, to broadcast.

As for Florida not everywhere is as backwards as us regarding opening times. I have a relative in the USA who watches games at that time and earlier in bars. Try googling "bars showing Premier League football in Florida. There are a lot sites. Here is one of them - http://www.livesoccertv.com/pubs/florida/

Fans get **** on yet again.
If f**king disgraceful.
How dare the FA reject the name change. They sold the soul of football, and continue to allow the selling of it's soul. Irrespective of views on the name change, the football authorities are a f**king set of hypocrites who couldn't give a f**k about the proper fans.

I know, and I didn't say they did Lambie.
I said the FA sold the soul of football a long time ago, and continue to do / allow so. Then said 'the football authorities' (as a 'collective') are hypocrites who don't give a **** about the proper fans.

It is tragic when the governing bodies and tv companies cater more for the sit at home plastics than the paying attendees who make the atmosphere at the grounds.

Their product would be **** in empty stadium, so why **** on attending fans in favour of armchair types?

Ha.

You’re ****ing gutted the FA has rejected the name change.

Don’t worry, your lord and master, Assem Allam, will get his chance to totally ruin the club in the soon.

Not to worry, you'll still get to worship at the altar of the Allam family after all of this is over.

Do you know if they manage to swing the silent majority to their side I think they could officially become a religion? I think they need 10k followers before its recognised as one.

Imagine that, The Church of Allam. The DoA's would have a genuine title.

I actually think it has sexual undertones more than anything else.

Perversely, these sexually repressed men now seem to be increasingly switching their ‘attention’ to the younger Ehab.

Where will it end?

One thing nobody has pointed out yet, Chelsea are playing Sunderland before we play Arsenal now (that was pointed out) which means if results have gone in our favour (list below) a win would see us mathematically guaranteed safety (and a draw would leave Sunderland only able to match us on points so they'd be relying on goal difference).

Sunderland to lose 2 and draw 1 of Everton (H), Man City (A), Chelsea (A) - we'd need to win to guarantee it, and if they draw 2 we can't do it against Arsenal. If they lose all 3 we still need the win, but a draw would put us on their maximum points.

Fulham to draw Norwich (H) and Tottenham (A) - that would leave us needing a win, they need to lose both for a draw to be good enough, if they win either we can't do it against Arsenal.

Cardiff to lose to Southampton (A) or Stoke (H) - if they lose one then we just need to match their result in the other to finish above them

------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone (Arsenal fans) with advance train tickets is ****ed like. I've got a friend coming down from Scotland for the game and he was due to leave at noon on the Sunday. When I changed it earlier there were only 3 (yes three) advance tickets available on the train after the game (so it cost £16). Now bearing in mind some Arsenal fans would have travelled back on the night, and some would have been travelling back on Sunday anyway, they're all going to be competing for a similar number of tickets on the south bound trains. Once they run out, the rest of them can't transfer their advance tickets, they have to buy new tickets at full price.

Hotel stays aren't an issue though. They'll only be booked for Saturday night. They might as well come up on the Saturday like they were going to, and then do what ever they planned to do on the Sunday before they left during the day. What ever they planned to do after the game they can still do on the Saturday night. Then on Sunday it's a nice chilled out start to the day before the game and then the journey home. (so long as they're either in car or can get the train sorted)
