I think they should be tied up and have dead weasels thrown at them.

Moyes would probably defend them even though they really should go in the summer

So what? Players are allowed down time. Are they meant to mope around all weak after a defeat dressed in black?

I notice there were no pictures of Cleverley with girls though. They were interested when he said he was a footballer but soon ran off when they found out which one <whistle>

I doubt you would be saying that if Chelsea lose in the semi-final of the champions league.

I doubt he'll care what Welbeck and Cleverley are doing if that happens.

    Let 'em dance.

So they lost- there is life outside football. Keep their spirits up rather than mope. There is still positions to play for in the Premier League. You may not get top 4- but best for the staff to be happy and motivated rather than mope around. Make the best of a bad situation and try and move up the table.

7th sucks- but you're only 7 points off 4th... until it is mathematically impossible- keep the chin up and charge. Let 'em Dance- Let 'em be happy. An unhappy footballer is less likely to do well on the field.

I don't mind them having a drink, what my issue with them is, they're having it a couple of hours after we lost to Bayern.

Welbeck performed well in both while cleverley was barely involved. Neither cost us the game so no issue tgem having some r n r.

For reference, can we have the official Matth timescales for when footballers can and can't let their hair down after a match?

I would suspect a Shandy should be OK after just a few hours. Beer- best wait 24 hours to be safe. For harder stuff like whiskey you need to wait at least 36 hours.

Drugs: Rio would need to wait 48 hours before shooting up.

Everyone deals with shock in their own way. Following the defeat, some will have broken down in tears, committed violent self mutilation or even (as in the case of Colleen) resorted to shagging Wayne, while others like Cleverley and Welbeck have dealt with the trauma through downing copious amounts of alcohol, blowjobs off a few german brasses and doing the la bamba on the streets of Munich. Let us not judge how ppl deal with grief :(

  20. They should be ashamed of themselves for not going home and rocking in a corner sulking themselves into a mental frenzy!
