Are you? He came into their side like a young pony - lots of running about and the prospect of some skill. But he hasn't developed. What is he? Well certainly he's not a striker. Neither is he a paymaker and he can't tackle at all. So what good is he?

But let's see what Dave can come up with.

 

Think Swansea can do us a favour this weekend. But they won't.

 

fair point dave, i may have over rated him slightly.

50/50 on him myself, he has huge potential but will he ever show enough of it?,who knows wrong attitude maybe, he has after all got into a utd team that was title winners and maybe he thinks he has made it already.

think the problem with a few of utd players who have gone in recently ish is they have been over rated quite a lot just because of who they play for by the media and probably believe the hype about themselves, not what they have done, januzij and zaha spring to mind and jones.

i would take a chance on him myself, but can see why others may not.

Anyway no I dont rate him, poor 1st touch, not alot of pace but good work rate and Cleverley I think we all know about him.

 

Welbeck is a pacier, less able Milner imo. Just a utility player who makes up the number, he isn't terrible, but he isn't anywhere near Barkley, Chamberlaine, Sterling, Sturridge ability.

 

This is where people who don`t pay attention to football (apart from their own team) get things wrong. Milner is a winger, Welbeck is not, yet is asked to play there most often. When Welbeck had the chance to play his actual position earlier this season he scored 6 goals in 7 games (not a bad return) and is also a more prolific striker for England than the amazing Sturridge. If Welbeck had a long run as striker he would prove his worth, unfortunately he has two big names in front of him.

I gave my opinion but you see more of him than I do so I was ready to listen to another viewpoint - nothing more or nothing less. But sounds like we share the same opinion.

celebrities is a massively over used word these days.

i think the definition of one now days is if you have been on tele you are automatically one.

who are they any way, i know of will mellor because of 2 pints of lager.

 

One's the owner of Betfred (old guy), the woman was a singer in Happy Mondays (???) & the other guy is on emmerdale #massivecelebs
