    Gus seems to have gone all defeatist in recent interviews about their hopes of staying up and talking about out of contract players. No doubt he is probably just being realistic but such negativity would be slaughtered if Pardew had took that attitude last season. Fair enough we were never in such dire straits but given up before you are mathematically down is poor from any manager.

    So then, who reckons Everton are gonna increase the glow factor and inch Gus closer to a breakdown?
