I just can't see any motivation for the players in the last few league games, Jones, Smalling and co will probably be going in 50% for challenges to avoid injuries in case Woy picks them, same with a few more. I won't be sticking any money on us anyhow, no matter how poor your results have been recently.

We have played better without him to be honest, but I think that had more to do with Mata and Fellaini finding some form coincidentally.

Would that extra league spot not just be 6th place though mate?

I don't think you'll mount a challenge for the top 4 next year. The rebuild job is massive.

I know the extra games don't help but your fringe players should still coast the early stages by which time you'll have two windows to strengthen before the latter stages. Sooner you win silverware the better for Moyes, cups are your best chance imo. Keeps the wolf from the door and quietens the critics while cracks on with this massive rebuild.
