Not so sure i do like.

But Poyet says he is continuing to pick the best side for the job and says his two defensive midfielders deserve nothing but support.

“I’m being totally honest,” he said. “I don’t care what criticism comes my way.

“Everyone has an opinion and there’s nothing I can do about that.

“But the most consistent players I’ve had in recent weeks have been Lee Cattermole and Liam Bridcutt.

“It doesn’t matter where you play, what you do, or your technical ability – it matters what you do on the pitch.

“And those two have shown, by the way they have played, that they deserve to play.”

Of course catts has been consistent and a leader, I feel like Bridcutt is the teacher's pet? A little untouchable?

Bridcutt has done fine, Cattermole has been brilliant.

Ideally I wouldn't play two DMs, but Ki has been pretty poor of late, Larsson isn't a cm and Colback, although has the odd great performance, isn't reliable.

I think its harsh to criticises bridcut from a fans perspective. In that he was been thrust in to a struggling team. I also however, think its a bit foolish of Gus to put him in when it is clear he is not apparently ready to seize the spot and make it his own, even more so given our situation.

Bridcutt has done ok and a hell of a lot better than Larsson has all season. Why people are Singling him out is baffling.

Bridcutt next to cattermole would work fine if the 4 players in front were performing. Unfortunately ki and borini look like they are on holiday, and Johnson cant do everything on his own.

Well opta(squawka) are always on the ball and Bridd has been in our top two players the last two games which is madness as some have really got on his back on here. Guess they're wrong <whistle>

Alright lads, just a quick question for you all...

With Rooney and RVP rumoured to be 'out' for the season now (rested for the WC no doubt), and Moyes probably using our remaining fixtures to see who he wants to keep and who he wants to ditch, aren't you lot confident of picking up a result at Old Trafford?

I can see many people dismissing it as a certain beating, but for me I reckon we'll get turned over. I don't think we want Europa League football next season to be honest so I can't see us scrapping for that 6th spot with any passion (not sure if 7th gets it this year...Bri?). Mata will be playing alongside probably Hernandez and/or Welbeck as Mata still has to try to force his way into the Spain squad, he did himself no harm vs Newcastle taking their shower apart for fun. I'd guess apart from him though, it could be a chop and change finish to the season, definitely an opportunity for you lot.

7th this year fella, with Citieh winning the league cup it opens an extra league spot. <ok>

Of the top teams it was Spurs I thought we'd have best chance with, turns out it was Liverpool we've come closest to getting a point from in this final phase of the season. Who'd have thought? So I wouldn't like to guess. Not even worth stipulating if we don't take anything from the Everton game. But you'd have to think you'll give us a good hiding with or without RVP & Rooney.

He's spot on with what he says. Instead of attacking baz personally, why not answer his question?

I don't think Bridcutt offers anyway to our side. The stupid formation that gus plays is built to accommodate Bridcutt. At the moment Bridcutt is offering absolutely nothing to our side.

How is it built to accommodate Bridcutt? We play 3 CM's just like with the old one. In fact, the 3 CM's is the only consistent feature from the 433 <confused>
