All maintaining diplomatic silence? Interviews only to SUFC journalists? Or just off the radar of today's know-nowt journos?
What about Quinny ? Ex Blades captain, player of the year, left them to join a Championship club who are now in the Premier League and Sheff Utd are in the old Third Division. Good move ?
Curtis Woodhouse will be there & shouting his mouth off. Deano was there when they lost to Wolves in the playoffs. He wasn't even on the subs bench, cos Warnock wanted an extra keeper. So he left the Millennium Stadium and got pissed in a pub. So i've heard.
There's far more stuff for the media to go at with this game than Arsenal - Wigan . Oh, I forgot....it's two northern teams that 'no one cares about'. At long last we have three northern non Top Table teams, who will bring enthusiasm, colour and atmosphere to that bland ****hole.
"But what football has encouraged and what Sky's coverage has encouraged is for people to be proud of who they support instead of saying the first thing that comes into their head." Eh?
Heaton wouldnt have been able to keep his mouth shut!! GTF played with him and against him a few times. Not a bad player but he never said a ****ing word.
Maybe he wants to do the theme for Super Sunday or whatever? I thought he was part of Red Wedge etc. Now he's bumming up to Sky.
He supports Sheffield United. What would you want him to say in answer to the questions he was asked? Sounds like a typical football fan to me. He's spoken highly of Hull on plenty of occasions before in the past 30 years, often when no other bugger was doing so. Fronted a couple of excellent bands. Written some witty and thought provoking songs. Contributed thousands to the local economy through his bar tabs. Not his fault he's a blunt; guess he didn't chose it that way. Just hope he's miserable on Sunday night.
He coached/managed a Cavalier Club (Endike Lane ) football team back in the day. Was quite generous getting the beers in after the match , back in Cavalier .
"I'm a Sheffield fan but I have split loyalties as I lived in Hull and had the best years of my life there. I know a lot of City fans and I'm chuffed they're at Wembley" ?
Nah, getting pissed and ****ting in a hole on the golf course they stayed at was the reason he was dropped.
I totally agree with his point about reaching the cup final over promotion. If it was a choice of winning the cup and being relegated or not and staying up, I'd 100% go for winning the cup.
It seems Buckingham has been talking to Edwards. Sadly, he's hoping Sheff Utd win. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Keit...United-lorry/story-20947861-detail/story.html
OK thats Edwards and Heaton declaring for the Blades, no surprises. What about Big Billy Whitehurst, no one dare ask him?
edwards still lives in sheffield and hes as big a blade as you would wish to meetand radio sheffield pundit . ,heaton has allways been a blade and as for big bad billy he had the cricketers on bramall lane for a few years and trust me fellas that man is a bladesman ,ask wednesdays top boy about him lol
