Yeah, I thought that too. Although Boruc may well have been resting this week, he sometimes doesn't appear in the galleries at all then plays. But we'll know for sure after Pochettino's presser tomorrow morning.
Yes, I saw that surprised there is no thread about it, go on Fran! People give Hodgson a lot of stick for being defensive, predictable and picking the same players but I think he is refreshingly honest.
Ho-hum. Suckered into providing the link yet again: http://www.thefa.com/news/england/2014/apr/roy-addresses-fa-council I'm sure there's a banning rule out there that if you provide news you must provide the link too. Persistent failure to do so is taking the piss..!
I haven't seen the Pochettino conference from yesterday, what are the injury updates? Is Boruc back? Flying over this afternoon from Belfast for the match tomorrow, I have to say it's strange to be going to a game that doesn't have a lot of meaning. As far back as I can remember there has always been something riding on the result (relegation from the Premiership, relegation from the Championship, struggling in League One, promoted from League One, promoted from the Championship and even last season we were looking like relegation candidates for part of the season. It's a refreshing change Bring on a weekend of debauchery!
As lamballana says you must do the Titanic walk especially with the ship's association with Northern Island. I can guarantee you will enjoy the walk. 10.30 12.30 2.30 this Saturday, Sunday and Monday from Holyrood church. Book on line on the Mayflower theatre site or telephone 023 80571858 Should I ever get to Belfast my first stop will be your Titanic Museum and then a visit to Cobh.
There was a Titanic exhibition at a railway station in Lisbon a couple of years ago...sorry, Godders, I walked straight past
Just looked at training gallery. I have noticed before how the youngsters all hang around together. I have seen this in other shots where the team are walking around an away pitch. Not surprising really....you may like people like Rickie and Adam, but as a teenager you have little in common with them. Must be nice for them to be with real friends...they may be professional PL players, but they are only kids after all.
No one would bother with us...anyone could work out our line up. If they couldn't, they would just have to come on here
That is an incredible accusation by Tan, but even if Moody did use his contacts to get the Team news, that doesn't give them an excuse for losing the match. Most teams can work out the opposition line up because of past matches, injuries, suspensions etc. and the teams are released an hour before kick off anyway. It is desperate from Tan and Cardiff. Onto tomorrow's game. On paper, we should win this game comfortably. We are 11 places above them in the league, have been playing well and scoring goals at Home recently, beat them in Cardiff in December, and they are pretty shocking in defence. However, I just have a feeling that they may cause us a few problems and that the game won't be that straight forward. You often get these games, where a side in poor form and in need of points, go to a bigger side and play well. And this is Saints remember (with Gazzaniga in goal. Yes I know he was in goal when we beat Cardiff 3-0 in December). Nothing is ever that straightforward. Except the Newcastle game I suppose! I'll go 2-1 Saints, but it will be a struggle. I hope the players can replicate the Newcastle performance and prove me and my pessimism wrong.
I always liked Kenwyne. Well, at least until he went on strike. He's good, but not quite as good as he thinks he is.
