OOPS! I would settle for us getting 52 points right now because that is what I think we need to survive based on previous season's statistics. Even that is a tall order given that we need 1.4 pts/game vs our current 0.93 pts/game and if we lose tomorrow's match at Brentford the task goes up to slightly higher.

Our position would be helped greatly by a run of wins because every time we draw or lose the task will just get more difficult and there will soon come a time when only wins are acceptable scarily enough that time is not that far away. Should we be concerned? I think the answer is a firm YES unless we start doing something with which we have had difficulty all season and that is WIN WIN WIN.

Survival this season is a necessity unless we want this team to drop even lower and to all the folks who will say "there he goes again" I remind you of very similar issues over the last few seasons followed by the promises to fix them and look at where all that rhetoric got us.

    absolutely,
my table on who plays who "crunch" games is quite informative when you look at the games the current 12 play each other in!

every team has around 30 points to gain, although if all the results were home wins, CITY would be getting 15 points they have 5 to play at home.
they gain an EXTRA 3 points on SHFF BRADFORD and STEVE, 6 ON NOTTS AND CREWE

LOSE OUT 6 TO TRANMERE AND 3 TO CRAWLEY

    crawley 49
    gills 47
    tran 46
    brad 45
    old 45
    carl 42
    shrews 41
    city 39

    sheff 38
    notts 36
    crewe 36
    steve 34

so if that was the only games left we would just survive, so we cannot afford to not WIN any of OUR 5 home games, BUT HOPE THERE ARE LOADS OF DRAWS AMONST THE REST

I thought we would make the play offss
However, I stated on here back in August that we would have a disastrous start, which would continue until November at the earliest and see SOD under much pressure before things started to come right in the new year.

I then made the stupid prediction that we would win the division next season, and I have placed my bet.
    I stand by that prediction

I believe we will be Division Three Champions 2014/15

the surprise this season was almost orient, I did say at end of last year nov/dec? the top 6 would e different to what it is now as teams lost their way or started to play fixtures against stronger teams..... that didn't really happen although LO and Peterbro dropped away they still remained top 6 and that has remained so since 01/12/13

At the bottom same thing predicted, teams pick up and move up, we took longer than expected and whilst still not in the clear a brave man would be needed to take odds on us going down! other than City and Sheff climbing above 16th the bottom 6 is as was.... so really come game 19 all was decided almost!

Preston, Rotherham, Peterbro Swindon less one of them, Sheff Coventry,MKD and add Yeovil, Millwall, blackpool? Cant see anything from div 2 Scunthorpe maybe? forming a nucleus OF MAYBE 9 OR 10 TEAMS

I also bet on City to win promotion this season. I don't know why - I never normally do this.
