Hopefully it'll be third time lucky for Premier League clubs then...

Hopefully it won't be third time lucky for Sheff United, as they've already lost twice at the New Wembley (in the Championship & Lg. 1 play-off finals)...

    Travellers' Information - Tiger Travel

Coaches depart from the South Stand car park/stadium bowl/emergency road at 8am prompt and, as previously stated, because of the volume of coaches and due to Walton Street Market taking place on the same day, we are unable to offer any on-site parking for supporters using our Tiger Travel service and there will be no vehicular access to the stadium car parks (with the exception of disabled blue badge holders, see information below) on the day. For those arriving by car, there will be a drop-off point at the Sports Arena on Walton Street.

However, for those travelling in by car, the Club has been working with a number of third parties to offer alternatives to try and make access a little easier for supporters and these can be found below.

    Park & Ride (Priory Park):
The Club has arranged for a special Park & Ride service to run from Priory Park (clearly signposted off the A63) on Sunday morning. The site offers secure parking (capacity 700) with staff on site from 6am onwards. The first bus (service 701) to the KC Stadium will run at 6am with a regular service being provided until the final bus leaves Priory Park at 7.30am. Upon our return from Wembley on Sunday evening, coaches will first return to the Walton Street car park where supporters travelling on to Priory Park should listen for further instructions from stewards and board the designated busses which will return you to your vehicle. The cost of the Park & Ride service on Sunday morning will be £1 per person.

    Hull Royal Infirmary:
We have very kindly been given permission by the hospital to advertise parking in their main car park on Argyle Street, which is open 24 hours a day. Please note that a pay on foot system is in operation at this car park. Please ensure you collect your car park ticket on arrival at the entrance barrier and pay at pay station before leaving the car park on Sunday night. Please check parking tariff and terms and conditions on arrival at the car park. The hospital car park is approximately a ten minute walk from the KC Stadium along either Anlaby Road or the footbridges from Londesborough Street over the railway lines.

    St Stephens Shopping Centre:
Parking will be available at St Stephens Shopping Centre with the car park accessible via Ferensway and then Portland Place. This car park is accessible 24 hours a day and by foot through the shopping centre promenade. Please check parking tariff and terms and conditions on arrival or click here for information. The Sunday rate applies up until midnight – additional charges apply thereafter. Please note that the ground floor car park underneath Tesco’s is not available. A two-hour parking limit applies here with a penalty fine in operation for any vehicle that parks for more that the two-hour limit. The stadium is approximately a 20-minute walk along Londesborough Street and across the footbridges over the railway lines.

    Disabled Supporters:
For disabled supporters travelling on Tiger Travel, a limited amount of car parking will be made available on the KC Stadium South Stand car park. This is accessible on production of your match ticket and blue badge with entry available from Anlaby Road only.

Coaches will line up in numerical order, starting on the emergency road and working round and back onto the stadium bowl. Coach stewards will be on hand to direct you to your coach.

Coaches will stop once en-route to Wembley for a period of 20-30 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A STRICT BAN ON ALCOHOL ON ALL TIGER TRAVEL COACHES, ENFORCED BY BAG SEARCHES UPON BOARDING

PLEASE ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME TO AID A PROMPT DEPARTURE

We've had some decent matches with the Blades in recent years. That 3-2 at Bramall Lane where Unsworth scored in the last few minutes to win it for them after City battled back to make it 2-2. Also, remember the ref had somehow missed a blatant penalty (i think it was on Stuart Green). Then someone ran on the pitch to confront Paddy Kenny. Decent turnout & atmosphere in the City end that day.

Then a few years later we reversed it and won a thriller 3-2 at Bramall Lane ourselves. Wish i'd have gone to that Boxing Day match. Remember kicking something in disgust when we blew the 2-0 lead. Only for the great last minute winner. Cameron Stewart actually looked like a useful player back then.

I don't know if ours is done by one bloke or if he does the whole league but he's pretty poor too. He doesn't come across as being biased.

Either way, you can see why we wanted Cameron Stewart though. Crazy how much confidence can affect someone so much.

Hull City fans keep an eye on Sheffield Utd defender Harry Maguire. Steve Bruce has already had him watched a few times and will watch him up close again. Plus, can now see him up against PL players. <ok>

As for the game, I am expecting us to win but it wont be a given.

One of my favourite away trips of recent times. Who remembers staying back to watch the replay of our winning goal on the big screen? Very bizarre of the home club to replay a visiting team's winner in such a manner.

I also caught Swine Flu at that match.
