His displays, goals and assists this season have been magnificent and hes obviously made an effort to "clean up" his act. These are the latest odds on who'll eventually win the award. http://www.oddschecker.com/football.../pfa-player-of-the-year?mobile_redirect=never Suarez is nailed on as the winner according the bookies but could he be pipped at the post and will his previous "crimes" be forgiven by his fellow pro's? If he doesn't win it who do you think will?
Suarez has really been in a league of his own this season, there is only one genuine candidate. One or two others have impressed (Hazard,Yaya) but Luis has been sensational all season.
Well Sky Sports are bigging up the fat manc bastards chances. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...er-league-award-if-based-on-whoscored-ratings
Couldn't give a **** who wins it. I'd prefer us or any of our players to get the attention TBH but I think Suarez is nailed on to clean up all the awards.
I look at it that its a barometer of a decent season that has the potential to be a ****ing fantastic season if one of our players wins it.
I think it is between yaya and Suarez, pfa poty is voted on by now I think. Fwa one is later. I expect the short list will be hazard yaya and Suarez However I expect a LOT of players are not like Roberts or evra or Williams, not many actually give a stuff about anything and when asked the question will vote best player. Writers? I think I expect yaya to walk it frankly but they'll make out it was so close. I even kind of think this weekend match should decide it in their minds. If lfC win.... Well it'd be very hard to justify not giving it to suarez
Using WhoScored.com's unique statistical ratings we run down a suggested shortlist, with a number of notable absentees. I think unique = goals, assists, play for big club.... Simple as
Sky just can't break up their love affair with yoonited because its a love eternal and they would just love it if Roonaldo won PFA POTY.
But before they get to the positives you have to read a negative, didn't see any reference to Wazza's OAP fetish as a prelude to his write up.
