Following on from the Twitter article, I just wondered how many on here have Facebook accounts, and if you've any interesting stories to tell..maybe getting back in touch with ex school pals etc. I don't have Facebook.
I'm not sure there's anything in this world that would persuade me to have a Facebook account. Same goes for Twitter. This rules me out when it comes to supplying you with interesting stories. You'll be gutted, for sure.
one of my friends from school, split up with his gf and sent a message to all his friends,(600+) saying how much he loved her and what an idiot he was for cheating on her. absolutely hilarious, couldnt believe he sent it.
i was on facebook pretending to be a 13yr old boy, got chatting to a 14 year old girl and arranged to meet her. well on the fateful day it turns out the 14year old girl was actually my 52 year old uncle. oh how we laughed
Something similar happened to me, the 14 yr old turned out to be an undercop, how cool is that, undercover cop and only 14.
I have it, but rarely use it. I put photos of the kids on there for my family to look at, but that's about it. It's probably been more trouble than it's worth, as a bird I knew years ago got in touch with me recently, basically saying **** like "things could have been so different if we'd got together, sometimes I wish we'd given it a go etc." The wife went mad.
It would work better if you could hide all of the "someone favourited a video on youtube" type posts as after scrolling down 50 of those I lose interest and leave.
My wife ended up giving her a good dressing down via the inbox function. "You can quite clearly see from his profile that Jip is married with children and yet you still make these poorly disguised advances to him. Maybe you need to get your own life etc etc". I had to agree to never even go on this bird's page again or I'd have my own knackers for tea.
