then again, if you've come to blows with a fellow supporter over it you're a bit of a dick no matter which side you're on

Everyone is entitled to there own view in my world.

Coming to blows over it is a big no no in my view.

I don't care if anyone thinks different to me .

    Why should I ?

I don't even think my opinion is right...

Its Just my opinion...simple as that.

It's a shame how one mans arrogance and petulance can leave such a dark cloud hanging over the club. He is the one who has divided the fans and treat people with disdain, yet some people still want to treat him as a demi god. Madness.

No matter how some people view my opinions, this is now my overwhelming feeling.

I'm so ****ing tired of this **** now. I just want it gone to be honest and unfortunately it seems it will only go when the Allams go.

Did you vote "Yes" and encourage him in his stupidity?

I'd disagree. If you look at the threads about the FA Cup semi-final/final as an example there's no divide between people through the name change. When people are trying to arrange transport, or tickets, or hotels and are asking for help/information people aren't caring whether the person is pro/anti change, they're just helping them out, and this is during the heat of the issue.

AA is either proving yet again, beyond any doubt that he's a **** of the highest order or he's talking **** to save face and is in fact going to let the matter drop. Unfortunately, I suspect it is the former and even if this talk of an appeal is a bluff, he's a **** anyway for continuing to create distraction - even if short term - on the eve of our forthcoming big day.
Can the supporters get over it? I think so, but no matter how obviously biased this sounds, the onus is on those who have taken AA's side in this to exercise a bit of humility (or just shut up), simply because AA started this wholly unnecessary dispute.
Asking CTWD or others that oppose his lunacy to bow out of the argument while he keeps it running is so obviously ridiculous that it should not require explanation.

On the way to the West Ham game I met a guy who'd come all the way down from Scotland for it and was a season ticket holder even though he lives near Edinburgh. He was implacably pro Allam/name-change even though he'd started supporting in the Waggy/Chillo era like me. This was at the same time hugely impressive (his dedication) and heart-wrenchingly sad (his attitude to the name change).

We just had to agree to disagree in the end.

He then convinced us to get off the tube at West Ham saying he was certain that was right, even though I knew we had to go to Upton Park.

I eventually with the help of an iPhone and Google maps convinced him we needed to get back on and travel two more stops.

This could have been a cunning attempt to reduce the CTWD membership at the game by two (my son and I) or it could just have been an example of however right you think you may be, you can actually be horribly wrong. He was wrong about the tube stop - and he is about the name-change too.
