Not very, when you consider they finished below us with three of them, wasted a huge amount of money on duds like Carroll and Downing, and posted a £50m loss for the last year as their debts rose by 31%
"Not very" Perhaps they should consider sacking managers as "often" as Spurs then, in order to improve such poor PL performance over that time.
The secret to their success this season is failing to qualify for the Europa Distraction last season, as well as early elimination from the domestic cups this season. All they need now is a dose of food poisoning on the final day of the season and we can sue them for plagiarism of our 2005-6 season!
And how many in the last two years then? But don't let that get in the way... Bar wenger, I believe we have the longest serving manager in the Premier League.
Just checked: 1 wenger 2 pardew 3 fat sam 4 rodgers Sherwood is somewhere near the bottom. The list just goes to highlight how trigger happy chairmans are now.
Two - same as us. There's reasons the Mouser Watch thread exists, y'know. The fact you lot are sounding as entitled as Man Utd fans at their worst is one of them.
Oh be quiet. I take it all back. Spurs only occasionally sack managers - and are in fact a very stable platform which the likes of Liverpool aspire too You're kidding yourself mate, but I'm sure it helps.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...or-a-supporter-of-tottenham-boss-tim-sherwood Adebayor showing how deeply footballers think when giving their backing to a manager staying Although the much rumoured issues with team spirit have been proved to be lies and Adebayor has been key in backing Sherwood as a senior player at the club.
You should aspire to be like us, not least because we didn't make a loss of £50m last year and we're actually building a new stadium. Besides, challenging for a Top 4 place off the back of no European football and early elimination from both domestic cups? That's our 2005-6 season, so you just need food poisoning on the last day of the season and we'll slap you with a plagiarism suit.
Behave. There are a few teams we aspire to be like. I assure you spurs is not one of them, especially with Levy's ridiculous revolving door policy with managers
Can't we all just get along? Liverpool are better this year Spurs have been better for pretty much half a decade before that Liverpool were much better before that Spurs were much better some time in the dark ages (the 60s) Liverpool have considerably more league titles, league cups and european trophies Spurs have more FA cups, just Spurs won a european trophy before Liverpool, just Spurs have done the domestic double, Liverpool haven't In summary: Overall Liverpool have been more successful This year Liverpool are better Spurs were better recently (excluding this year) and in the 60s
The "Roy Hodgson Debacle" must still count as one of the most shameful acts committed by any set of fans, any where in the world. "Gentleman" Roy was hounded out of LFC by the fans from day one; he was never given a chance. I truly believe that, if given the time, he could have become the next Paisley. Most of us normal fans still feel ashamed, when we reflect on what happened.
You should be so lucky, Spurm !!! In their defence, there is a small minority on Poool 606s everywhere who will say the first two points. But they will get denounced as heretics, by the majority who can at best be described as those for whom HIAG has a very specific article. I have had great fun on 606s making them squirm and prevaricate in order to avoid admitting it ( "small club Spurs" ) .
Roy is an inspirational manager and tactical genius, I for one can't wait to see him in action when England march to deserved world cup glory. I'm sure you'll enjoy it too, HIAG.
We are getting along,a bit of debating and a bit of banter, that,to me is getting along!and a bit of wumming
Never get too friendly with the scousers as that's when you start to find things mysteriously going missing
