Fewings is a prick, he's been Allam's pocket since day one. You can't take legal action against the FA and even if you could, their grounds for thinking they have a case are pathetic.
Unless Assem Allam says he is calling it off, it continues. It's fair to assume at this point he will be reapplying next year as a minimum.
Allam will re-apply year after year and eventually the FA will cave in. I was surprised that the decision of the FA was only 63% against.
Allam probably couldn't win a new application without showing the FA he'd consulted the fans properly. Any proper consultation would involve a ballot without loaded questions. I don't see how Allam can win.
Cut and pasted from the article ................ The owners are also believed to have concerns regarding the people who sat on the three-man sub committee of the FA Membership Committee, namely Wolverhampton Wanderers chief executive Jez Moxey, who saw their recommendation carried by a 63.5 per cent vote of members of the FA Council. What the **** is all that about ?
Either the Allam's have an issue with Moxey or more likely Fewings had a few more words to find to flesh out his article so he made something up
By persuading less than another 15% of the FA Council. I find it quite alarming that about 37% of the FA were in support of his idea
What's this rule change the Allams keep banging on about? I've not heard anything. IMO The FA should bring a rule to safeguard football clubs heritage. Then it'll stop this circus happening every year.
They think there shouldn't have been another football club owner on the panel, as he might nick their idea. Seriously.
Maybe he thinks Moxey will nick his idea and call his team Wandering Tigers. Nobody could think that, could they?
It's obvious; there was no argument whatsoever for the change. The Allams wanted to force it through by lying, blackmailing and cheating but the membership committee saw through that and observed there was no argument for changing the name.
