Having read this site everyday for three years, I finally felt the urge to post something because of the injustice of someone like Hitchcock producing the goods having been farmed out yet again. He then scores a goal that was pure class while we are giving playing time to someone who doesn't even have a good third touch. I was merely pointing out that if "he who should not be named" had scored Hitchcock's third goal, then we would never have heard the end of it. Apologies for using the "T" word but I don't want him back. He was one of the most technically gifted players I have ever seen but also the most frustrating. He has moved on and that era is over. Now realise why I never posted before and probably never will again.
don't be like that rs welcome aboard have some welcome rep(wait till 50 posts) don't you go forming your own clique now
I dont really understand that mate. No reason for you never to post again regardless of who you are. I dont think anyone offended you and the comment was hillarious..thats why I laughed. Seemed like a great set up. Long may your posts continue and i for one enjoyed it. Sorry if you took any unintended offence although i suspect you already know that
Welcome to the forum, mate although I hope you and our good friend 'Up The Rsss' don't join forces or merge ............. sounds very painful, sorry! Didn't take long for someone to pass comment ............ you beat me to it, swords!
Very hard to argue with Flyer's comments, why play two loan players when we have one of our own who scores.
Welcome rs. I wouldn't be too put off by our resident "comedians"; virtually every new posters gets accused of being Cerny, consider it a rite of initiation. In addition to the third goal being as fantastic as you said, I was hugely impressed with Hitchcock's control for the first goal as well as his composure for all three. Here they are again for anyone who missed them first time around.
All those goals were very cool, composed finishes. He came to us when Hughes brought his Dad in to be goalkeeping coach I think. Wonder why his Dad is still with us when the rest have gone.
