Yeah dealing with the Royal Mail must have been bad <ok> <laugh>

I was chatting with a Swan at the start of the season and he was adamant you would be fighting us for 7th.

I always thought Europa would shaft you and that has ultimately, along with the managerial change which hasn't really worked out.

Definitely not going down though - it just needs an experienced head to come in in the summer and steady the boat imo.

My 3 are still Cardiff, Sunderland and West Brom, can't see WBA picking up any points from their remaining games.

Probably the same Swan who produced most of the excuses I referred to in my earlier post,bow4.

He must be really hissed off now!!!

Just hope and prey lads that we are not in a position that if we lose at Sunderland and they escape and we go down with Cardiff ,Jenkins better get out of town pronto and take the board with him as I don't think we fans would be happy,And we would be saying good by to $60 mill or so, And then we can get a new Manager as Monk don't have what it takes to bring us back up even if we stay up monk as to go so wait and see what happens from here on in starting with at least a point on Sunday vrs Chelsea we never know we could do what Palace did to them last week.

I'll be happy if it's any three bar us. The vast majority of posters pointed out Monks inadequities when he was installed as manager, so it begs the question why did Jenkins hand him the riens in the first place. Very worrying.

Which inadequacy was that? The one about Monk having never managed a team in any league, let alone the Premier League? I'm sure Huw was well aware of the fact. (sarcasm)

This is very true, lets hope it all cools down when we have got another Prem season under our belt, with a new manager being appointed, and Monk and Dai have been given Gardening leave!........<cheers>

That is how I see it, but if we beat them, then survival is perhaps 90% assured, as Fulham's goal difference is far worse at this time, and they will need too many points to overtake us, I would think. Having said that, looking at our last 4 games, who is to say we wont lose them all by 4 or 5 goals each? Hopefully that is an unlikely scenario, but is possible I guess.

i havent seen anything to suggest Sunderland or Cardiff can survive (though under Malky i was worried that they would tbh!)....so for me the loser of the Fulham v Norwich game will take the drop. if its Fulham they will have too much to make up and if its Norwich I dont seem them picking up hardly any more points from their terrible run in.

as for us - Southampton and Newcastle have nothing to play for (and the Magpies have been rubbish for a good while now) so we should get at least a couple of points there - also Sunderland may well be doomed by the time we play them. I fully expect us to get another win somewhere along the line probably against Villa but as people are saying we are due a big performance against a big team so why not start at Chelsea! so:

    Fulham
    Sunderland
    Cardiff

for me but I would quite happily swap Fulham for Villa or West Ham solely for their dire brand of football!
