Then how do we replace Cousins' energy and physicality in midfield? I know Cousins is a perfectly capable RB, but there is no obvious answer. It might even boil down to risking Nego.

I know it removes something from the midfield, but the Morro at RB just won't work and Nego also isn't up to this level. If we're struggling with scoring goals I'd rather find a solution that helps keep those clean sheets - as not scoring and conceding will result in a guaranteed relegation.

Brilliant result, but no real improvement performance wise... Once they scored we got nervous, and our build up play was way too slow and telegraphed, whereas Yeovil attacked with pace and purpose...

Second half much better, but annoyingly when the game should have been in the bag, we began to sit deep again... Cort coming on at the end..? Those who drone on about tactics wouldn't have let that go by without a mention previously...

Why the surprise with Reza bottling 50/50's..? He ain't doing them, it's as simple as that, not with the World Cup on his radar... He and AA are becoming our main threats going forward, and that really does highlight state of affairs... Easy tap in for Sordell after a great bit of skill on the right by Reza, and nice to see AA get off the mark, he deserves it for his attacking intent...

Another good Tuesday, but we need to follow it up on Saturday...

Maybe the most significant thing to come out of last night was RD being here to ''finalise'' contract negotiations.

Didn't notice any boooooooing. There were some booooooooos at the end. Not sure who they were aimed at. If it was aimed at Yeovil it silly. And the ref didn't make any howlers that I could see either.

Trouble is it was okay last night having Morrison at Right-Back because although we know Yeovil can score... they cant defend (As someone said to me towards the end... If us and Yeovil merged using their attack combined with our Defence then we would easily be safe)... Whats worrying is against Brighton we wont be so lucky which is why Wilson will hopefully have a face mask

No he didn't... In fact he got some applause from the CE, whilst warming up by the corner flag, which he acknowledged...

Surprised it was forgotten. But then again only a small faction of our fans use forums and read the SLP to know what happened.

I assumed it was Gary Johnson and his assistant. They confronted the ref as soon as the final whistle went and continued to berate him all the way to the tunnel.

If Wilson is out we should bring Joe Gomez in and play him out of position at RB..... the kid is class and will have no problem with his powerful running and passing ability.

Agree he is class. But to make a step up in level out of position wouldn't be right, think of Solly's tough time against Millwall at LB. Anyway we don't want everyone to realise how good he is until he's on a contract.

I've just seen the highlights - that ball from Poyet to Reza for our third goal was ridiculously sublime.

Have a look at Covered End Cam on Youtube as well, you get a great view from that of our second and third goals.

HA HA HA... good luck with that Super.

If someone had offered me 3:2 before a ball was kicked I'd have happily seen my bet go wonkey.

Just goes to show that gambling is a mug's game.

One thing that MUST be changed before Saturday's game is Morro getting the bullet as our makeshift RB.

For me he was absolutely abysmal last night. That's easily one of the most inept RB displays that I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing.

Fair play to him for having a go but in the words of old stone hands himself... "No mas".

Surely there's someone in the development squad that can make a better fist of the RB berth in Wilson's absence...? Interested to hear the thoughts of those in the know on that possibility.

All in all last night was about the result and nothing more. So we must all be well chuffed that we came away with the spoils.

It's just a shame that Wigan put out their reserves against Millsmall and got turned over.
