Christ on a bike Chazz, let me know if you're wearing that in our local Inn on Thursday night, and I'll bring the forum camera with me...
1) With BT internet you get the sport channels free, so anyone not in Karoo's clutches is potentially fine. You can also get apps for mobile devices (including laptops) to let you watch your subscription elsewhere. I don't have BT internet, but I'll be hooking my laptop up as one of the registered devices on my mum's account. I should then be able to use any internet connection to watch it in future (don't need it for this weekend). All that is without considering the option of illegal streams. 2) You can go to Wembley loads of times in your life 3) Not to watch City in an FA Cup semi-final (hey, I didn't introduce the contradictory nature of 2 and 3) 4) Preference has to go to season ticket holders. They're contractually obliged to because it's part of the deal when you buy a season ticket.
Semi's are not that special, I have one every morning. But Wembley in the spring time thats a semi to be proud of.
Comes around every 84 years if your lucky. I know City fans who are now six foot under who would have walked to Wembley to see Hull City play there. Suggest you managed your cash better. You've known we are in a Semi Final for over a month now.
Spot on. The odd time I have watched City in the pub when I havn't been able to get to an away game I have always come across the bitter egg chasers, usually, well, always FC fans. The ones who sit staring out of the window or with their backs to the screen in their FC replica top, the others who cheer when a goal is scored against us and recently a FC fan sat with his ugly missus who was wearing a Liverpool scarf, yes, we were playing Liverpool. Some of the excuses on here are pathetic. Its on a Sunday? so what? Its the London marathon ? In the morning yes. I can spend £20 on beer in the pub and watch the game for free. .......your not a fan then. I cannot afford it.............................if genuine hard luck pal. City v Sheffield United, FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley. No brainer. Get yourself there.
Hence "potentially", and why I need to use my family having BT internet rather than my own (as I'm not with BT).
