Swans are apparently in talks with Garcia, good move in my opinion. Axe should fall quickly on Monk as the season ends, he should be shown the door. New manager put in place quickly to buld a team through the summer. At last promising signs.
Young coach doing quite well at Brighton.... Does have good pedigree though...youth coach at Barcelona.... Anyone seen anything of Brighton's play under him this season?
Brighton are playing attractive football in our style, Jenks could be onto a winner with him, pull another rabbit out of the hat.
Carried on where Poyet left off. Poyet admired the way the Swans played and openly said so as he transformed Brighton's style. Pluses - He's Spanish (depending on your view) Brighton have a similar philosophy to Swansea Brighton have increased the size of their ground by 8,000 over a period of years he's coached Orlandi If he is looking to move to the Prem we are likely to be the only club that would go far a young Championship manager playing a passing game Negatives - He's Spanish Brighton is to Swansea what Swansea was to Wigan when Roberto left - and look what happened there. Why he won't get the job Papers have put a few coincidences (above) together and made up a story If he came I couldn't see GM staying (ages too close) The board will want Monk to carry on He's happy and quite successful at Brighton After all that, if he does come I'd be happy
Stay happy - I've got one on me this morning. Being a simple soul, I find the intrigue surrounding the Swans (akin to that of the court of Elizabeth I or Medici's Florence) confusing. I should add Medici of Florence would make a decent manager if a little too old, and foreign for some. But I'd be happy.
Laudrup played for them and couldn't/didn't get anyone from there yet Martinez did at Everton. Just don't see how he would have more of a pull.
We need a manager of Ãscar's pedigree, he's coached along side Johan Cruyff and is doing really well at Brighton, we wouldn't go far wrong bringing him to the Liberty....................
