    I'm still not sure what purpose the ballot served. The FA ignore it and any attempt to use it in any appeal will be laughed out of the Court.

    If Allam wants to think he can pat himself on the head because he's written a ballot result, then let him get on with it. Nobody but him thinks it means anything. It was supposed to show the silent majority are behind him, they're clearly not.

    "In answer to enquiries re Hull City. We can confirm we counted & verified the votes & confirm that the result released is correct. It would be inappropriate for us to comment further. We never enter into discussion about votes we have verified."

    Maybe they only counted the votes they'd been given to count?

    WRONG.

    I'm anti name change and I didn't vote because I didn't want to dignify the ****'s silly word games with my tick. I know lots of others took the same stance, too.

    2,565: Yes to Hull Tigers with the Allam Family continuing to lead the club;
    792: I am not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way
    9,159: Number of season card holders who did not vote
    2,517: No to Hull Tigers

    It seems to me, that the only thing that can be taken from this corrupt poll is that only 2,565, of the 15,000+ eligible voters, gave an emphatic yes to the continuing ownership of the Allam Family; the same number that said yes to Hull Tigers.

    As an exercise in gaining a supporters endorsement of their ownership they have failed.

    As a sideshow of illustrating a majority in favour of their name-change proposal, it has failed.

    It does prove that the majority cannot be bothered with them or their name-change.

    It's now time for them to shut up or **** off.

    Good piece, but the author need reminding that the low turnout wasn't about "apathy".

    Finally, I can permit myself to eat Tiger Bread again.

    It's been a boycott on principle, but it's just so tasty.

    Happy days indeed.
