Ferriby's fate in their own hands now, point off the top with a game in hand and a better goal difference. Stalybridge in the relegation zone too, so hardly likely to be a taxing game.
What's funny about that? Their players have probably been on the piss since Saturday and training would be a mess around.
Very true but the next game after that is Altringham 9or whatever its called and they are flying at the moment.
The defeat will probably be good for them in the long run. It shows they have to keep their mind on the game and that there's no room for complacency.
This is blockhead were talking about here. He won't let them go on holiday til the seasons finished. These games will be used to help adapt the inevitable huge change in play style that comes when you stop steamrollering everyone and start getting steamrollered. He'll have them shackled and playing on the break, a bit of early practice working together as a team never goes amiss.
They won 6-1 away last night but even then they're still 4 points behind Ferriby. If Ferriby win all their remaining games, which is perfectly achievable, they'll be up.
The result of the night without a doubt was this one......Oxford City 2 AFC Telford 0. Come on the Village Boys. Brighton were not the sort of team that Lesta wanted after a weekend on the pop,. Shame that Burnley had 4 of there best players missing and lost 0-2 to Lesta last week. If Burnley would have won that then both clubs would be on 86 points now. Massive game for Ferriby @ Altrincham on saturday now. Win that and next tuesdays game in hand @ Stalybridge and NFU wont be far away from the Conference Premier.

Honestly we've never played that badly. We made so many pointless changes that went against the way we play. Playing Phillips was the most pointless thing we've ever done, it was like playing with 10 men, he's only worth having on the pitch if we've got the ball and we're constantly putting it into their box. Your last two sentences are rubbish. We've got pre season to piss about, not now when we could easily lose top spot. If we miss out of first then it's as big of a **** up as last season's calamity.
