Harriott on the right fires a shot in but it's easy for the keeper.

5?! where do they get these minutes?

And chucking on a defender for a striker is what Powell used to do... lets hope it works better than when he did

Long period of Yeovil pressure as we can't clear, but eventually the shot goes a long way wide.

Bloody Hamer...!! Wandering off his line for no apparent reason just lost me £340 (got 17's on Betfair earlier today)... bearded ****er...!!

Although I would've happily have paid £340 for the penalty save and three points against Leeds.

Worth the suffering in the end, but that was one long drawn out win.

Huge relief at the final whistle. I'll be sorry to see Yeovil go down, they play some nice football, but do leave space at the back. Great tunnel jump by Astrid at the end; I thought his legs went after 70 minutes, but he must have saved a little bit of energy for that one.
I don't want to see Morrison at RB again, we missed him so much in the middle, and he's not that good a RB anyway. I'd love to see Andy Hughes one last time.
Poyet just gets better and better. Really he needs to be playing with better players.
Cousins' energy in midfield is now an integral part of the team, and it would be great if we could build a team around these two home-grown talents.If.....
And Sordell earned himself a big round of applause when he went off, so it was a real feel-good night at the Valley.

Not too sure about that, Mike. We rode our luck at times, granted, but we were the team playing the better football.

It's a shame Yeovil resorted to the bully-boy antics; they have some pretty talented footballers and knocked the ball about nicely at times.

I'm glad Miller wasn't available for Yeovil as I don't think our disjointed defence would have coped with him.

Cousins and Poyet were superb and their energy levels were key to us ticking over for the duration.

Obika was awful when he came on and I reckon he is sulking due to his demotion to the bench.

Where did the referee find those five minutes at the end?

Anyway, it was a good win, an average performance, a rubbish match (for quality) - but I'll take that for the rest of the season.

    COYR!

Was happy with 1-1 at half time, they really should have scored again, hanging on at the end but a massive 3 points, really drags Donny, Birmingham and Blackpool back into it, look forward to a weekend at the seaside at the start of May ensuring our championship status.

A rare event - an entertaining game at the Valley this season, possibly the first one since the Brighton game on Boxing Day. Agree with FHB that Diego Poyet will be a very, very good player when alongside better players, in a better team. God knows what the Morrison selection was all about. What does it say about little Ceddy Evina's future at the club? We are fingertips away from having a very good, long term engine room to our team - both home grown lads as well- Poyet and Cousins. Our best pairing since Jensen and Parker ?

More twists and turns and could be a very exciting last day of the season, with Blackpool now in freefall.

Personaly, if Wilson is out I think we should drop Cousins back. Having a player capable of bringing the ball out will be a massive benefit, and think JJ or AA can fill the gap in the middle if DP continues to sit and spray the ball around.
