I hope they get 4th too. And not just to laugh at Arsenal (though I will) but because Everton doing well is a good thing if not at our expense

 

Normally I would want Everloan to come fourth over Arsenal but I think the way they have abused the loan system is shocking so for this season I would prefer Arsenal to get it because their best players are not on loan from some other club.

 

I like the idea of both Liverpool clubs in and around the top four and hopefully challenging for titles in the next few years. I have no idea why Everton fans are so bitter about us - they need to grow up tbh.

funny all the bitterness is one way, we want them to do well, but, well maybe they have been butt rubbing the mancs for so long they are rubbing off on them, sad but **** happens.

they have a good squad and a decent manager, why they would rather not get top 4 to stop us getting the title is a little sad,expected better, and they have huge potential if they get top 4 to improve.

 

meh.... everton cannot just transform with 30million extra revenue for one year.... neither can we and spurs proved the case too.

what everton NEED is not a rich owner but someone with the brains and skills to grow the club. there was a time under moyes where they could have pushed on a bit, now under martinez they could push on a bit... but their success is bolstered by 3 loanees and traore isn't exactly the type they need in is he? martinez needs to club to be able to afford to build on coleman, baines and barkley... howard and jagiekla too. short term loans aint it. its what a year or two since kenwright said the banks won't give any more?

one cl campaign won't transform them but building the clubs revenues with worldwide branding will. they need to take in 30 mil extra a year off the pitch, never mind 30mil in tv prize from cl...

we do too... spurs need to.... reality is to compete with utd and arsenal we need a 60k stadium and massive off field global merchandising etc. so how can everton without that... long term... iwish them the best of luck with it of course.

 

What about when you lot cheered Blackburn at Anfield on the last day and rolled over at home to Chelsea with Gerrard providing a defence splitting pass for Drogba... kopites were openly celebrating as Chelsea scored their second......

Both times to deny dem Mancs.

p.s. I don't know of any Blues who would genuinely want us to miss out on 4th if it assisted you to win the league, people might say it in jest, but come the City game we won't be acting like kopites

 

we beat Blackburn tobes, how can we be blamed for utd not doing there job and getting the title when we done ours, you know why we celebrated ffs, not sure the point in bringing that up unless it was us who threw the game deliberately so utd wouldn't get the title then fair enough could look dodgy, but we won.

We weren't talking about the team were we, we were talking about the fans and you lot were cheering for Blackburn, and equally some reds celebrated Chelsea's win at Anfield.

So you lot spouting off about some Blues wanting anything but you lot to win the league is ****ing hypocritical as some of yours have done exactly the same with the Mancs.

you know why we ****ing celebrated, 1 because king kenny won the title, 2 it stopped the mancs wining it(should add that wasnt down to us now was it as we ****ing won cretin!), bitter rivals and ****ing city neighbours is 2 entirely dif things, you don't know the difference maybe you are best permanently sticking to the manc board, as they will talk as much ****e back to you as you will them.

I'd like Everton to do well (though obviously still behind us) regardless of what some of their fans say.
Genuine rivalry is obviously part of football, but hatred is just baffling, imo.
If they had a chance to win something that we didn't I'd be happy for them to go and do it, though the attitude of some of their fans would get on my tits.
