How 'Arry sawr it: “At 1-0 down we were still in the game, but the second goal at the start of the second half was a blow. We had one or two chances – Will (Keane) should have scored but hit the post from eight yards out. But I thought they played well and we stood off them far too often. I thought we got what we deserved. They were stronger than us and their front two (goalscorer Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes) were a handful. They looked a good side tonight. It was difficult for us though. We had to make a few changes again, with injuries from Saturday. We need a result – and quickly. We’re still missing five or six players and that’s really hurting us. We just need to get a result or two to get us into the play-offs. We’re focused on making the play-offs now. We’ve got a big cushion but we need to go on a run to make sure we’re heading into the play-offs with momentum. We need to beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday – if we win that, then that should be enough to get us into the play-offs. If things don't change this lot are capable of missing the play-offs entirely. Still mathematically possible although god forbid such a complete meltdown.
Recent performances have been so poor it's like Harry has been told to make sure we avoid even being in the play-offs. In fairness we don't currently look like we deserve to be in them.
If he's retiring this summer no matter what, he's better off failing and getting the sack than getting a promotion bonus. It has mgot to that point that he seems to be throwing games. I saw a post from someone who was there and they said it was the worst away atmosphere ever and not a single song was sung. I reiterate that we have to drive him out before its too late.
