First full day and our dear mr Haigh is gone. No messing with the Italian eh?. Every day just gets better
Massimo Cellino has completed his takeover of Leeds, his lawyers have announced. Cellino's company Eleonora Sport Limited has completed its purchase of 75 per cent of the club's shares and the 57-year-old has taken his place on the board of directors. "Massimo Cellino has now been appointed a director of LUFC Holdings & ESL has completed its purchase of 75 per cent of the shares of LUFC Holdings," Cellino's legal representatives Mishcon de Reya tweeted.
****ing brilliant especially the departure of Haigh who has milked his position with the club, let him **** off back to Old Trafford where he really wants to be. I think the players and management are now on notice, so expect a big win tonight or bye bye Brian before dawn. lets see if Massimo really wants to get involved with Together Leeds or will he use his kids as directors (CEO/MD) to keep an eye on the family cash because we know Il Duce' himself is now Presidente'
They missed an opportunity yesterday when quite a few of us seemed to be getting our y fronts in a twist.
Love Cellinos little sayings "were not in hospital, just a little cold". Them McD brings me down to earth by starting hunt
The midfield has been dire all season, but Hunt hasn't been a lot better. Running around a lot and trying hard doesn't win you matches unfortunately.
I though we was Leeds United though....the ones that always bang on about how it dosen't matter if your Messi or Andy Hughes aslong as you give 110% or was that a different club.
**** knows....Cellino's claiming hes gone but Haigh's lot are saying he's been appointed Chief Executive as part of the sale contract to Cellino.
Unfortunately, it does matter. I'll always appreciate a trier, but it's hard to applaud a side for trying hard when they're lacking in pace, ability, quality, creativity and organisation. It's like watching a non-league side; it's beyond painful. These players are supposedly Championship quality, it's about time they started playing like it.
They can't though kiwi. It's obvious surely to everyone now they are plain crap. Yes if lucky and get 110% from all eleven on one day against an off form bottom of table outfit, they may win, but they are crap and will lose 90% of the time. We can field whatever 11 we like in whatever diamond, circular or triangular formation we like but it doesn't make a jot of difference
Oh I'm well aware that they're useless. I was just pointing out that they are supposed to be Championship quality. Bar three or four of them, I think they'd struggle in League 2.
