On 26 October, he joined Sunderland on a short term, three-month, contract ending in January.[36][37] He made his debut on 15 December in a 3–1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.[38] He made his home debut on 12 January 2013 in a 3–0 win against West Ham United.[39]

Should have checked the internet first. I always like him as a player. He made similar runs etc to Naismith, just never played by Moyes in the right positions. He scored a few cracking goals for us, but just never worked out for him

 

Thought he was awful to be honest.
