This will be a good bit of business for the club if: - we have a good enough replacement lined up - Westwood is rumoured, he hasn't gone to Sunderland and is better than Kasper - We make in excess of a million for a player whose contract is up at the end of the season, and we signed for free anyway - Kasper wasn't willing to resign unless on ridiculous wages From the statement by the club, it sounds as though Kasper and his agent wanted a lot of money, and he's already on a reported £20,000 a week - he was on massive wages at Notts anyway. He's a good keeper, but is overated. There are better players we can get, and if we get someone in that's better than we can be happy. Don't start complaining until we know who the replacement is.

im actually happy hes going yes he has days when he is a class keeper but his ego is far too big for our squad. I spoke to thom Kirwin and he said that walking round the pitch after the burnley game his son had a scum shirt on underneath the leeds shirt and thom said his ego is far too big and he doesnt get on really with anybody in the squad. aslong as we replace him with somebody decent ill remain happy.

You wont get Westwood - he is premier league bound im afraid. We had approached him to make a simple move up the Motorway to Leicester for far bigger wages as a our number one as part of our promotion push - but he expects premiership football...and to be honest no one can blame the lad (although i do think he'd be better getting regular football!)
Football fans are so fickle. This time last week he was the best keeper in the Championship and could play for some Premier League teams. Now, he's fat, sulky, arrogant, not that good and greedy. You couldn't make it up.

Not really, we're just happy to shift the dead wood. Just because you don't rate a player once he's left doesn't mean you rated him while he was at Leeds.
I can guarantee 100% and you know it, if I came on here last week and said what's everyone's opinion of Kasper, 99% of the comments would have been complimentary. It wasn't a dig at Leeds fans, we all do it. However, I didn't think you were a selling club!
We've had numerous discussions about Schmeichel on here, I don't believe any of our viewpoints has changed significantly. Some are sad to see him go, some are happy, some are indifferent. Same as they were before we knew Leicester had a bid accepted.
