Gutted for Jay but we have to look foraward and let's win in style for him on Ssturday.

So who should start. I know a lot of you don't agree but for me its time to bring Gallagher and Reed on for starts. Assume Boruc and Gaston are out so I'd go with

    Gazza

    Chambers fonte Lovren Shaw

    Reed Cork

    Davis Rickie Adam

    Gallagher

Subs cropper clyne jos morgan Vic jwp mcqueen

Controversial but never a better time to change things.

    If Gaston's fit start him.

Boruc, Chambers, Lovren, Fonte, Shaw, Morgan, Cork, JWP, Gaston, Lallana, Lambert.

Any mileage in bringing Clyne back in and pushing Chambers up into the attack?

We had the Cropper/Gaz debate in the winter when we were down to third choice keeper. The run of games Gaz got back then did not show improvement. I'd give Cropper a shot to see if he can step up. If Gaston is available if start him. He needs game time to get ready for next season otherwise Gallagher. Bring on the kids starting at 60 min. Hopefully we can get 3 of them playing time.

Why not play Clyne, and put Chambers in goal :) He is a big lad after all.

Have you seen Cardiff play lately? We could play the U21s and win 4-0.

Sad to say as a Cardiff resident that it's not looking good for you guys. I just hope that relegation will get rid of Tan. Think a lot of City fans would probably take that at this point.

You would think that'd be the case mate <ok>, I personally cant see another point our way all season

Definitely mate. Might leave us financially up ****s creek, but without a shadow of doubt our soul would be restored.. May even get that feisty atmosphere back at the ground!

IMO it's all about getting the balance right.
Gaston drifts out of the game, if asked to provide width, which is where JRod excels.
Rickie, in the hole, loses his effectiveness. Again, IMO, he becomes effective by dropping off his marker, creating the space for runners, something he can't do if already in a deep position.

With all the rumours/lies being spouted in the media, about Shaw leaving, this might be an ideal time to try Targett at left back, but give him the comfort of playing Luke ahead of him.
This would be my preferred choice, because whether or not Luke stays or goes, MP needs to know if Targett can step up, and better to do it in a less pressurised game than early next season when points will be precious.

Play Ramirez central and Lallana on the left. That way you keep the work-rate on the flank and I'd love to see the kind of interplay that Lallana and Ramirez could develop. We're losing a potent weapon in Rodriguez but we might gain another one if we play it right.

I really think we need Gallagher up Front with Lambert. We just don't have much pace up front when Jrod isn't playing.

Might as well play Gazza and see if he can show us a reason for us to keep him...
