http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13837763.stm what do you guys make of this, good to see the club havent given up yet also the quote from Pardew we're not afraid of losing him, gives me confidence that they've got someone else lined up
Being honest I think the club know they are going to lose him and are just making it look like they are doing everything they can to keep him so we wont be as pissed off when he leaves. Wouldnt be the first time.
Exactly. He'll leave with a week till the transfer window closes and they'll make it look like they tried to get a replacement in and failed.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8893611.stm What made him change his bloody mind!
Obviously now he's realised hes one of the best left backs in the league he thinks he can do better, I wouldnt really blame him for looking for champs league football because he stayed with us through relegation, I'd be gutted to lose him but would wish him well.
I either want him to sign a new contract or sell him, i don't want to lose him on a free next season.
But what else can they do? If he wants to go, he'll go. We can't have players here who don't want to be here and are attracted by the bright lights of champions league (or in Nolan's case, Chapionship) football.
