So GFH sold loads of shares when they were in the crap, then when they thought they had a buyer, they bought the shares backaround Xmas. No wonder the t/o took so long - they couldn't tell the FL who owned what until they did own it. Would be a terrible injustice if Cellino was shafted for this debacle by GFH and Bates. Cellino should take GFH to court over the massive debts he has been left with, £10m of which is probably to him, and get these shysters completely out of our club
It is a complete farce that GFH have been allowed to run the club into the ground like this right under the noses of the FL and when someone wants to come in and offer to sort it out, they do everything imaginable to try and stop him and leave us with GFH!
There is absolutely nothing in those accounts on a brief reading, that surprises me at all. Strange they appear the day after Cellino takes over NO. We were well and truly warned in many quarters at the time of their takeover, what we were getting into but so many didn't want to see it. God help Cellino sorting this mess out. I really believe we will need the riches of the PL in the next two seasons just to clear up our debt. We probably won't be able to afford much longer in the Chanpionship unless Cellino has amazing deep pockets. Thankfully he arrived when he did
Agreed, GFH were only ever going to have investors interests at heart, they promise to make interest on their investment as it is what they do, they said a few choice words at the start and many believed they were going to be great, they get shot of a loss making radio station and suddenly people start shouting how they are making the right (obvious) decisions. GFH were crooks from day one, no better than Bates.
