    1. We still do get wrong decisions. Why should we accept them?
    2. What does the number of pens we get have to do with referees making wrong decisions?

im going, should be an electric atmosphere.
Hope there isnt the utter chaos there was last year to get in as the minutes silence may well be disrupted by people still coming in unaware of whats going on,people were still coming in 15 mins after the start last season due to pathetic stewarding

If he plays, you'll win imo ,as he's absolute mince & you'd be certain to target him.

He gives a better chance. Of course we would target him, force him to make mistakes and challenges (maybe give away a penalty).
Lets not forget Kompany, as good as he is, he is scared, we are the best team he has played against.

other than point out that you were arguing with astro for half this thread looking back.... of course i won't refer to the rather nice conversation you've been having on the manc board as the less said there the better. I pointed out nicely yesterday to you that your comment re west has goal could be interpreted completely differently to the way you claimed it was and you gave your usual response... you had to be right.

I could go on but i think i'll go back to work happy enough that 30 seconds looking proves my point..

I just know precisely your next comment of course but hey... make it anyway eh?

liverpool have to be favourites for me,have all the momentum and city have a shocking record at anfield.
Demichellis has been outstanding in the last month or so now hes settled down and got used to the pace of the league.I have no concerns about him tbh
I think city will look to dominate the ball as much as possible and try to starve suarez trying to get him coming as deep as possible.
Fernandinho really needs to stop the influence that Henderson can provide with his attacking runs which suarez & sturridge look to feed from and we need to get at flanagan as much as possible,he looks a weak link to me with his diving in.
Suspect this is how we will start

    hart
    zabaleta kompany demichellis clichy
    fernandinho yaya
    nasri silva navas
    aguero

"Demichellis has been outstanding in the last month" oh okay, you've seen more of him than me

But please, I insist you be favourites, I prefer that :)

I truly hope that your side try to do just what you describe because I doubt that you have the personnel to do it. Plus the more that you side is worrying about us the less you will be causing us too many concerns.

Scared or being respectful, like ourselves, we're not scared of them but we do (should) respect them.

Ive said all season long and I'll stick with it, if we're on our game as Ive seen in some games this year I fancy us against anyone at home

  17. Fair enough on Demichellis since you see more of him than us but by the same token, your view of Flanno is wrong too. You said "diving in" in a way that suggests he is reckless and that couldn't be further from the truth. Those strong tackles he makes always land 100% on the ball, I've not seen him attack in the same manner and even be close to missing the target, he only does it when he is certain. The rest of the time he backs off a bit but remains physical. TBH, I wouldn't swap him for anyone ATM, I think he is absolutely superb and trust him to deal with whoever you guess put against him.

Oh, and trying to "force" Suarez deep is impossible, he does it anyway as does Sturridge. It is why they are so dangerous as a partnership, neither will stay in one place and neither are restricted to playing in one style.

  18. I genuinely can't wait for this game, total excitement for me. I'm certain that it will be the same for the Chelsea game should we still be standing tall in the title race.

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...riker-stevan-jovetic-confident-over-title-bid

Stevan Jovetic thinks Manchester City's experience gives them the edge in the title race.

The Montenegrin striker has missed a large chunk of his debut campaign in England through injury and has been limited to just two starts.

But he is now fully fit and ready to try and help City to the title, and he is confident they will repeat their 2012 success, as he feels it is their previous experience that gives them the edge.

"This squad has a lot of experience because we won the Premier League two years ago," he said.

"We know how to play and keep the pressure down and I think Liverpool have more pressure - I think we are going to win.

"I am happy for my goal but especially for the victory because now we have seven games, seven finals, and hopefully at the end we will win the league.

"We must believe we can win all seven games, because then we can do what we want, but it is important that we are in pole position.

"The next game against Liverpool will decide a lot of things, but even if we win that game there are more hard games to come."

City travel to Anfield on Sunday, a game you can see live on Sky Sports, and Jovetic insists that they do not need all three points.

"A draw would be good but I think we are the team that always goes for the victory and I hope it will be the same at Anfield," he said.

Jovetic also insists that City have a better balance to their team than Liverpool, and is confident of success this weekend.

"It's important that a team has so many players who can score, as we saw on Saturday, with Nasri, Edin, me and Yaya all scoring," he said.

"There is always someone who is going to score for us, but we also have the defence and midfield playing well.

"I think that gives us a small advantage. It is not important who scores, but just that we score."

The former Fiorentina man is hoping to prove his worth in the last few weeks of the season.

"I have been fit for the last four games, but played in the first one against Fulham, was on the bus for the next two, and then played and scored against Southampton," he said.

"I am fit and feel good every time I play. I am ready, and know I can do very good things for this club."
