They could always approach a bank and ask to borrow money against future earnings from a name change. I'm sure the banks will be queueing up to lend.

 

I wonder if bonkers Allam is bonkers enough to know that a) the FA will knock back the name change b) he knows he can't walk away from the club unless he loses shed loads of money and therefore because he knows he can manipulate the 'vote' c) he will stay put and always say that the fans were 'for' him and the name change because they voted that way?

He's that bloody crackers I wouldn't put it past him.

At the end of the day, the FA make the rules
When you accept the golden share, you accept the rule of law as the FA sees it.
