Not logged on all day. Finished work and thought there would be threads describing a blood bath, and Elland gloating because he had just made 3% commission on the sale / purchase of TA and ER.

What do I find? Nothing, nada, zilch even Haigh the snake is still in situ. Having a billionaire italian mad man in charge has become very boring very quickly.

    Cellino OUT!

Sure I read somewhere that Haigh has to be kept on till the end of the season as part of the terms of the takeover.

There'll be blood on the carpet soon enough <ok>

I certainly do but I don't want to piss on anyone's parade. Delay the outcome till June I am suspecting.

While I'm tempted to agree with you, I can't see how they'd be allowed to delay it that long?

They'll probably delay the decision for when the summer transfer window closes, so we'll start the new season with the same dross we've got now

Thing is, even if the Italian court upholds C's conviction for tax evasion it still won't prove dishonesty, therefore FL haven't a leg to stand on. Never stopped them befor right enough<yikes>

It all depends on the finer details that are not yet released by the Italian court, they haven't yet released whether or not they felt he was dishonest or not, they have a maximum of 90 days before having to release the details. Put it this way, if the Italian court said tomorrow morning that they felt Cellino had acted in a dishonest manner we are screwed (as I see it).

Especially there is another level of appeal even after that.

Don't think he can yet, until the actual written verdict is released by the Italian judge, although he may have lodged an intention to appeal, depending on the content of the actual verdict.
