Aboslutely, no-one knows what goes on on the pitch better than ex-players. In cricket the majority of first class umpires are ex-players, but cricket doesn't command the same finance as footballers so as you say players are better of retiring, writing a newspaper column, hosting a radio show and sitting in a Sky studio a day a week for about half a million a year, none of them will want to earn £75k a year and take the abuse they do...
Jay Rodriguez out for 6 months with an ACL. Deserved to go to the world cup, for all the goals he got this season, but football can be such a cruel game.
Walcott too would have been a shoe-in for the World cup this summer, both players chances snatched away by the same injury.
Spuds losing at home to bottom placed Sunderland. No matter how crap Arsenal's week gets, there's ALWAYS the spuds to cheer us up
ahhh the spuds demolish Sunderland , and the scum go back to 7th . there is a god. get down where you belong you facking rags. !
looking more and more like you lot might just be the team to keep us out of the Europa League this season
i think you will finish where you deserve to finish , how bout you ? Think you have earned a Euro slot ?
Hard to say until the final game is played, if we have enough points then yes, we have earned it. Do you think you have?
There's a very real chance we could finish outside the top 4 this season. We're banking on Everton dropping points to the likes of Southampton, Manure and City but we also have to win our last 5 games. That is by no means guaranteed. Potentially a disaster if we don't make CL.
You'd be more likely to get CL next year by winning the EL than getting top 4. Not wumming you. EL is now a more tasty prospect IMO because of the CL spot
