I really do hope I haven't posted facts because there are no facts to post on an event that didn't happen. Having read through this thread and others I agree with your point on peoples opinion on the ballot before the results were announced. I do believe however that human nature is to gloat when proved right.
Anyway, arguing over an event that didn't happen is pointless and will only cause ill feeling, if you've taken my behaviour as that of a ****, I apologise.

You seem to be trying to build a strawman and failing badly.

The proof you're looking for is here. You're making the mistake of trying to build a claim that CTWD lost. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Or people that just ignored a meaningless, flawed poll.

I will never be convinced of the validity of the votes cast, a terrible indictment of the current owners.

Me neither.

But the story that's currently sweeping the nation is that our fans voted for this.

We look like utter ****s; the lowest depths of football's new fans.

Wouldn't be surprised if the national media turn on us now too, making us their whipping boys, akin, but worse, to the Fabregas situ before.

I don't believe CTWD lost/will lose. I struggle to see the FA approving this name change. IMO it won't happen. I am really fed up with the way this whole sorry saga has torn the heart out of our club, and I don't appreciate certain members of this forum implying I'm a **** for my beliefs. Don't get me wrong, I am a ****, but not for this reason.

Hopefully the truth will out and the tide of contempt against our spineless turd fans will be turned as the Pyong Yang style ballot is revealed as a sham.

One thing for sure, after 19:04 minutes on Sunday we'll hear the loudest CTID yet.

Doubt this will be the case. The top journo's know the score and that it was a flawed ballot.

You need to be more concerned about those 'closer to home' like that councillor fella and the dude from Claughtons - sorry, can't recall either of their names.

The silent majority spoke, I agree with that= its just a shame that this vote could be misrepresented in the owners favour in the news as most people don't have time to delve deeper to see what the reality is

I agree but the headlines, in the main, are that we voted for it.

Hull City fans vote narrowly in favour of changing club name to Tigers

Hull City season-ticket holders have voted narrowly in favour of changing the club's name to Hull Tigers, according to the club's website.

The club said a total of 2,565 fans voted in a recent ballot in favour of the name change with the Allam family continuing in charge of the club, while only 48 fewer rejected the proposal.

However, with the club's figures showing only a 39% turnout, just 17% of season-ticket holders eligible to vote backed the name change. Of the 15,033 eligible to vote, 9,159 chose not to, the results revealed.

The owner, Assem Allam, whose financial backing helped return the club to the Premier League, has vowed to walk away from the KC Stadium if the name change is blocked.

The Football Association is yet to decide on the proposals. However, the governing body's membership committee has recommended that the application to alter the club's existing name of Hull City be rejected.

Hull said in a statement the ballots were counted independently by Beyond Dispute.

After Weds FA rejection:

“ I’ve been going since the 60s but I hope he teks his money out and City not only slide into the Conference, but also slide on into some sort of black hole and become destroyed as we know it in the space time continuum”

"Hull said in a statement the ballots were counted independently by Beyond Dispute."

What about the blank returned forms, the people not emailed etc?

They can only count what they are presented with.

Caveman, **** is just a generic insult.

But in truth, I just see people like you as weak minded and of poor judgement.

I could potentially call you a ****, but I'd just mean the above.
