But given the way Allam treated the vote , the contempt he showed for democracy and fairness . . . do YOU still support him ?? I know the CTWD group as a whole support Allam but not the name change , why didnt his actions in scaring people into voting in his favour or not voting at all make you vote No ?? Seems too many want their cake and eat it
Burnsey asked Ehab what the point of the ballot was, he said they needed to know that the majority of fans backed them. This does not tell him that at all, he ought to be massively disappointed.
Sorry, missed these replies. My belief is that everyone likes to proved right, and my opinion is that this board would have looked different if the results had been different. However, as it is, we will never know. As for belittling other posters, are you aiming that accusation specifically at me? If so, you should really take a greater interest in other users activities on here.
You can have your own opinion, but not your own facts. As I said, the answer to your question is a resounding YES, the ballot would have been treated with equal disdain. A part of that proof is that it is being treated with disdain now despite a huge majority clearly not being in favour of the name change.
I voted NO and my conscience is clear. The FA will back me up and Allam will have to decide how he wants to get out of the corner he has painted himself into. Honest fans and long-standing fans of the club at loggerheads with each other, all so that he can have his ego stroked - well he can do one. Anyway, enough of this ****, off to watch Sunderland hopefully get a humping.
Democratic vote. Majority vote for Tigers and the Allams, so who amongst us will now accept this, and which Gobshites will stop going?
Poll results No to Hull Tigers - 2517 Not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way. - 792 Yes to Hull Tigers - 0 Yes to Hull Tigers with the Allam family continuing to lead the club - 2565 No to Allam Family continuing to lead the club - 11676 They've stupidly brought about a massive vote of no confidence in their continued leadership. The silent majority's silence has spoken loud & clear.
I recall several previous polls, none heavily-weighted in favour of either position, which attracted thousands of votes and resulted in resounding outcomes of 'NO'. These were dismissed as 'majorities of a minority'. I look forward to next week's comment from Allam on how he recognises that 20,000 fans are not in favour of his plans. Have a nice night.
It does matter. It tarnishes the supporters. We now look like a part time, tin pot bunch of yes men who'll give into blackmail, and any old whim. How the f**k do people vote for something like that- with little or no evidence what so ever. It's f**kin embarrassing.
The FA will decide the name you gormless, ill educated twat. If that's your idea of democracy you'd of been gassing Jews in the 40s. ****.
FSF's letter to the FA on the poll results: FSF STATEMENT ON HULL CITY AFC BALLOT: The Football Supporters' Federation said: “Many Hull City fans have already contacted us to express their concerns in relation to the flawed ballot. “It wasn’t neutrally worded and was a clear attempt to create a ‘yes’ vote. Even then, only one in six season ticket holders has voted yes. “Fans are also concerned that they were required to identify themselves when voting, hardly surprising since the chairman has been openly hostile to those who disagree with him. “The club might be allocating FA Cup final tickets soon and some fans who voted ‘no’ fear they’ll have a black mark against their name during the application process. It might even have discouraged some from voting ‘no’ in the first place. “The ballot was not supervised by an accredited, neutral agency such as the Electoral Reform Society. Did multiple voting occur? Some fans reported IT problems while another fan was told ballot boxes were removed from the stadium early because of a rugby game. “Hull City’s ballot does not stand up to scrutiny and we have already written to the FA arguing exactly that. The FA’s National Council will look at this issue on Wednesday – they should back their Membership Committee’s recommendation and reject the name change.”
Tried to stay away but when f**kwits like you pop on and believe ^ this worthy of a new thread then I've got to pipe up. Comment on one of the many other threads and stop cluttering up the board with regurgitated crap like this you self important w**ker. Aaaaand relax. Tosser! Ok, now relax.
It's Hull City, as will be confirmed by the FA on Wednesday. Some mentally challenged types on here no doubt think today's result means something, fortunately, the FA are not so daft.
Anyone who think any sensible person will make any sort of conclusion based on today's results of a farcical poll are sadly mistaken.
Can I be honest and say I started celebrating when I read the poll question? So much so that I never even bothered lowering myself to actually voting.
This is my reaction, I've had friends round the country who have seen this and think we have rolled over to have our bellies tickled, more like pussies than Tigers in truth- a bit like anybody who actually would vote Yes to this who isn't a bit thick
