They released the results, which everyone was eager for, and everyone was eager to see them before the weekends game. Everyone got their way. Well almost everyone. They didn't release a massive statement, whining or gloating, they just released the results. CTWD on the other hand show their utter contempt for all things related to the club.
Worthless post. We've been denouncing the legitimacy of the poll for weeks. Because it's complete and utter bullshit. They were asked directly to clear up the issues with the poll and refused. Doesn't that make you think they're obviously hiding something? It was 42.8%. 42.8% more than voted for the name change. Anyone taking this 16-17% thing seriously is a ****tard or listens far too closely to the great and powerful Doctor Allam.
How many people you know didnt fill it in etc as you posted earlier? 5 10 2000? The vote is what it is. You trying to tie people in knots is a waste of time. That vote has shocked everyone. Whether you/we like it or not this site and others are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
The vote must be significantly embarrassing for CTWD. There has been no fans group lobbying for the name change, yet despite this it still gets a bigger vote than the protest vote. Clearly neither side can ignore the majority who didn't vote, and it would be ridiculous for either side to claim that this group are pro or anti name change. The majority don't care about the name.
I'm not crying. Less than 20% of City season ticket holders are in favour of Hull Tigers. The percentage would have been even less if Assem Allam hadn't threatened to take his ball (and money) home. Its possible that more individuals voted No to Hull Tigers than voted for, dependant upon how the block vote split. As Stuart says a sad day for Hull City AFC. Just to make it abundantly clear Assem Allam has given the FA every excuse to ignore this ballot.
It's all good sport to interpret the numbers how one wishes. One fact shines through all of this for me - Assem Allam has split Hull City supporters right down the middle with his antics, setting supporter against supporter. And that is a matter of great regret to me and, I hope, all Hull City fans. Only Allam can bring an end to this division - and I hope he does just that, very soon.
By admitting that the poll you're hiding behind is meaningless? I'm flattered you see me as a challenge, I'm not, but I'm clearly above your level on this.
