Seriously? They actually supported it? That's got to be a fix, surely.

So it says. Only 5,874 ticket holders responded out of 15,033. And 2565 said yes. Seems a very low response rate for something so important.

    Strange.

I hope top doesn´t get any ideas. Unless it´s Leicester Fosse, black with a blue sash.

Na, blue & white, but Fosse ain´t a bad idea ???

Unless my maths are failing me, 2,565 isn't the majority of 5,874. So did 800-odd people vote "Not Sure"?!

EDIT: Just looked at the article (which always helps!). Apparently 792 voted for: "not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way".

So to answer my own question, yes. It's insane. How can you not be bothered?! They're just terrified their owners will walk out on them!

Been over to the Hull board.

Apparently the F.A. are taking no interest in this vote and will totally ignore it when coming to their decision on Wednesday.

We might have to become The King Power Foxes.

Great name for a band actually.

I'm embarrassed by the outcome of this ballot. It;s making us out to be spineless.

All the other votes have come back in favour of the "No" option.

The vote was a weird one. Firstly, you had to put your name, address & details on the form. The "yes "option was more a vote of confidence for the Allams than Hull Tigers. It was worded Hull Tigers with the Allams at the club. This is backed up with his blackmail in recent interviews.

The "no" option was just that. Whereas, CTWD had asked for a separate vote of confidence question- yes/no for Hull Tigers & whether the Allams should stay or go.

There was also a third option. Bit weird having a "don't care" option on a ballot.

Then came numerous glitches- voters complaining that their vote wasn't registered ie the forms went in blank, & those whow ent in person couldn't hand in their ballot forms because the people had already taken the boxes in.

It was loaded from the off, and he's barely scrapped through.

The amount of people voting seems pathetic & i'm really f**ked off about it. Plus, i don't see how you can vote on an issue when there's no evidence been give to back it up. I suppose some of our newer fans are desperate for prem football.

Either that or the corporates have all voted in favour. Which wouldn't surprise me.

The voting forms had to be obtained from the website. The only communication I've seen about it as a match attending fan was the email I received, but which loads of other fans didn't. (Not saying they didn't do anything else like put it on the big screen, but I didn't notice anything so the same will apply to other fans). They also disqualified some votes, I've not heard the reasons, but I've only seen No voters saying they were contacted last week to say they'd been told their vote couldn't be counted.

There's also the fact we were told it wouldn't form part of the submission to the FA, and the fact the poll was launched a couple of days after the FA Committee said they would be recommending it for rejection making people just see it as a totally pointless exercise. It's one of those why bother pissing the owners off by voting when even if they win the poll they can't do anything with it moments.

The turnout isn't that low though, it's 39.1%. In the last Council Elections in Hull the turnout was between 17.8% and 37.2% depending on the seat, and in the General Election the turnout in Hull was only 52% over the city. Considering the sham nature of the poll, the pathetic administration of it, and the fact the FA Committee had already made the result irrelevent to be beating the local elections and having 75% of the turnout rate for a General Election is good going.

The Don't Care voters are as far as I can tell people who are against the name change but are **** scared because of the bullshit impression that the owners gave the media about what would happen if the vote came out no. (it's effectively not supporting the change, and at the same time saying "we're not against you" to the owners)

Unlike other people, I'm actually delighted they put that Don't Care option on the poll. Had they not done the result would have been more than 50% of the votes going to the Yes side given the other shenanigans around the ballot. I can't think of a single reason somebody would vote DC on this poll but vote No if you took that option away. They'd either abstain or vote Yes.

Only 2,500 said NO. The rest either a yes or not bothered at all.

You could well be Leicester Foxes soon ? :emoticon-0105-wink:

In saying that when you look at league tables it just says Hull and next season you will be known as Leicester. Far too many City's in the PL now. :emoticon-0105-wink:
