I heard they're going to offer the job to Chris Coleman.

Moss is one of the few refs that are half decent to be honest. Dowd is also pretty good. The others just think the public have come to watch them.

On the Sherwood thing at Spurs, I think, although I don't rate him as a manager or like him as a person, that Levy is out of order with the way he is treated him. You give him an 18 month contract, and then within 4 months, you are sacking him, but not until 5 games time. What is the point of Sherwood even staying there really? I know people will say he is getting a decent pay packet, and he probably is, but this is a bit embarrassing for him.

Seemed clear to everyone he was only a stop-gap and he knew it himself, hence trying to get a three/four year deal, so as to get more compensation.

I agree, but why give him an 18 month deal. And they could have appointed a 'proper' manager at the time.

Who's going to do the pre-match and half time relay if Steve Bennett is linesman for the day?

Listening to Radio 5Live, and Spurs V Sunderland. Jonathan Pierce talking about the great managers of the past, who used to sit in the stand to watch the first half, and sometimes come down to the dugout for the second half. He ended his opinion with, they used to play football before the Premier League, citing the debate of why some managers like Tim Sherwood sit in the stands.

We might get 7th final position by overtaking Spurs, at this rate.

Love Jonathan Pearce and Steve Claridge together as a commentary/co-commentary team. Pearce's voice rises and falls with excitement, and yet he keeps the words dead right, and Claridge keeps calm and makes comments full of insight. On top of that, because it's radio, they manage to keep a good chat going between them that is humorous and interesting.

Sky saying replays showed that Adebayor handled the ball into the net, no one noticed at the time!

Just watching and a lino just waved a Sunderland player offside, before the ball was passed, it may be one of the guys listed for Saturdays game, perhaps someone should explain the rules before they give him his flag?
The same lino just made another mistake, where do they get these people.
