If it was a NO it would be a NO, we wouldn't be waiting for the decision on Wednesday would we. ****ing ******
Another "**** you fans." Statement by the club. Lumping those who didn't vote alongside those who voted yes and highlighting the no votes as a percentage of people who didn't vote. Ballots don't work like that.* I know we've said this'd happen all along, but it's still sickening to see the club so determined to antagonise its own fanbase. *How many people vote at general elections in Hull? Less than 20%? You'll never see a result stating Labour won with 14% or whatever, because it's a proportion of those that did vote who are counted. They can twist it however they like, but that vote is about 52:48. It shouldn't need twisting like that anyway, because assuming it's not fudged it's a majority voting the way the owners wanted them to.
The result is nothing less than a fraud, and its findings should be ignored by anyone with an ounce of sense.
I know a lot of people that didn't vote because they didn't want to give the ridiculous ballot any credence. They were all very much against Hull Tigers. What ever spin is applied to this sham, works both ways. If it's any example of the attitude and acumen of the owners, it doesn't bode well at all.
I am well aware of ratification but the point I'm making is that despite the committee saying "NO" it still needs to be decided by/actioned/sanctioned by those higher up in the FA.
The FA came out pretty much when the ballot was announced that it would not be taken into consideration. When they saw the questions they probably strengthened their opinions on it.
It could be a win win... The FA say no and the alams stay and fight their case which will take a long time with the FA and at the same time we have investment and do well in the league and possibly europa league. CTWD are happy because the FA say no.
I did not vote but in no way should that be taken as a vote in favour of the name change. I did not vote as I do not trust the owner not to be vindictive and put a marker against my pass number. I did, however, write to the FA to explain why I did not vote and that my lack of vote should not be taken by them to indicate that I was "not bothered". Interestingly their reply did reiterate that there had already been a recommendation to reject the name change.
If people genuinely believed that "Hull Tigers" would lead to a bright future, they wouldn't be apathetic. So shut it HullCityAFC.
My new phone is about the size of my ear so a nightmare to type The fact they state only %16.7 out of all elgible voters but dont mention a meagre 17% of all voted yes angers me to extremeties Utter laughable, this ballot has done them more harm than good, another failure by the allams
The ballet is a complete and utter waste of time and achieves absolutely nothing!! However if it gives the Allams a way out from the challenges that they face regarding the name change, then let them take that token result to save face and lets all move on. At the end of the day we understand (rightly or wrongly) that FA aren't going to endorse the name change so its as you stand with the Allams no doubt posturing whilst they either do nothing further or seek to sell the club. Bootom line is that by not engaging with the supporters or supporters group/s they have alienated themselves from their paying public and customers and that will I have no doubt come back and haunt them one day. What a bloody shambles at a time when we should be celebrating what they have achieved for CITY!
The FA appointed a panel of experts to hear all the evidence, they then advised the FA Council members(lower in the FA, not higher), which way to vote. The FA Council do not vote against the advise of the FA panel, it's just a formality. In addition, the FA have seen the question used for this ballot and won't entertain it being entered in evidence.
