Good to see you still learning even though you're on your school hols. Heads up though, the names aren't real, although I do have a Knighthood.
But you said they are doing it for branding reasons then agree with me when I point out that the brand would in fact be harmed
Yes, in the main. Of course some regurgitate the unsubstantiated bollocks of others & pass it off as valid opinion when it's really bullshit.
Nope, I'm agreeing that you made a very valid point, for every pro there's a con and you made a very valid point...
I hope the Allams Stay But it's not the end of the world if they don't. I don't think anyone on here is pro name change . I don't know anyone who is The Allams need to accept what the FA say imo If they don't.....then they can go for all I care and this is from someone wants them to stay.
Hope your keeping well Mr Ben. Don't judge people by what they say on message boards hullcityafc In the real world Mr Ben would be there to help you if need be and so would everyone on here . I'm off ..bye
We know that there are no sponsorship deals dependent on the name changing to Hull Tigers â Ehab confirmed that recently in his Radio Humberside interview. If a business plan, even a speculative one, existed then if I was Assem and Ehab, I would be showing it to the FA sub-committee populated by football administrators who will âget itâ, rather than a roomful of old duffers and blazers that will convene on Wednesday to ratify the recommendation. I would respectfully submit that all the signs suggest that no such business plan exists â at least not in a written and evidenced form. The name change is a punt into the dark, motivated by anger with the Council as much as it is motivated by a desire to raise incomes. Thatâs what the evidence we have available to us tells me. And as a customer of Hull City, I would have thought Iâd be just the kind of stakeholder that the club would wish to inform about its exciting future plans.
Can I ask you to be accurate there please. If you can find a statement from CTWD that is anything other than respectful to Dr Allam and thankful for his massive investment into Hull City, I'd like to see it. I don't believe such a statement exists. You can't look at a few ranting loons on this message board and assume they speak on behalf of, or are, CTWD.
I must confess, Al, that I was full of appreciation for all Allam has done for the Club. I was still holding support for him, despite his name-change proposal. However, as this sorry saga has unfolded - from the stitching-up of Nick Thompson to this last idiocy of a 'ballot' - I have developed a massive distaste for the man, his ego and his spiteful pride. I have no time for him. At all. [I've been hoping that he'd be big enough to back down and take what could have been a fairly easy exit from his ill-thought out 'plan'. The longer it goes on, the harder it looks to be for him to back down. And the more I despise him] City till he dies; and City after he's dead and gone, too......
CTWD has called on him to drop the name change and get back to being a hero that saved the club and made it prosper. The ball is in his court.
He should also accept that only a small minority of fans seem interested in any kind on tacky name change (albeit with blackmailing strings attached)
Its his ball, his court. I think its going to be game set and match to the Allams, very soon. CTWD are irrelevant now. The poll shows that along with their own membership total.
