dai, of course you can have your opinion. on this occasion its wide of the mark and i think you need to have a look at yourself, this is a player who gave 100% for 7-8 years and it was not his fault that the club kept rejecting offers when he was outgrowing the club.

i suggest you direct some of that bile towards the players who showed about 10% of the commitment he showed us when he was here......

    why taylor and turner out?

both give 100% and would walk into any championship side, really pisses me off how people talk ****e about players that got us where we are (the premiership).

Swamp, just my opinion mate and my opinion always has been Taylor was a pile of horse **** in the Championship, thats been my opinion since then. Turner has had an awful season. There is my reasoning for slandering both of those players.

What was wrong with young Declan?

Agreed....no problems with back four earlier in season.

Also don't go with this nonsense about players not 'premiership class'. Over half the team will quite possibly will be playing premiership football next yeat (though not with us sadly).

Just my opinion mate, some think Zaha is great. Some don't everyones opinion differs and mine just so happens to be.

I don't understand how anyone can say no problems with our back four when we are in the position we are.

Totally dejected after an inept showing Saturday. I would get rid of OGS now - let Bellamy run the side until the end of the season and get somone in who can get us out of the championship. I can't see OGS having the skills to achieve promotion or even a play off berth.

    Rant over

    Jay,

I said there were no problems in the back four earlier in the season........same back four which were reasonably solid AT, SC, BT, KTC (at least we were 'hard to beat') early season looked about as solid as a runny poo on Saturday.

Campbell has just proven for the 3rd time that he is certainly not PL class. He is a very good Championship striker where his physicality and work rate is enough. The PL needs more than that and he simply doesn't have it. The amount of times he lost possession through either mis-control or being mugged by a player he didn't realise was near to him was simply not good enough. If one of the less favoured players eg. Kim had played like it no end of 'work rate' (sometimes know as just running about) would have saved them from relentless abuse.
A few people slagging off Daehli, IMO he was by far the bravest player in possession on our side, if he had some quality around him he'd do a lot better. I'm with Glam in that I thought he was our best player.

I do think Zaha's card was marked by a fair few before he arrived here. At times he hasn't helped himself with lack of effort. His final ball was lacking on Saturday but he consistently beat his man and from where I was sitting he was the only route (barring set pieces) that might even possibly lead to us breaking such a resolute Palace defence. I know I'm absolutely on my own defending him on here but a final ball where you are attempting to pick out a motionless KWJ being marked by 6 Palace defenders is almost always going to end in failure.

I'm not trying to defend Saturday, it was one of the worst days I've had at the CCS along with Reading and Long smashing us in the play offs. Ole is the man to blame, the players were sold completely down the river with his terrible set up and tactics. I said when he first took over we had to defend our way to survival as we obviously didn't have the players to score our way there. I don't believe any team below Saints could score their way to safety defending the way we do though.
I agree with Hilts in his double relegation assessment as this side will leak goals in the championship too. I can handle mistakes, I can't get my head around not learning from them. Hull was the mistake, he should have learnt the lesson and didn't.
0-7 v Hull and Palace at home, says it all really.

Whole team were defending then though and working really hard on keeping their shape, restricting spaces between the lines, closing down and backing people up. Same as Palace Saturday.

did you watch us in the championship last year? taylor was one of our best 3 players and turner a fixture in a team that won the league.

and dai, you clearly hate him, it would be to actually back up your slating of him rather than 'yes but i know he's a ****'. you blamed him for leaving but the club rejected offers. he didnt celebrate the goal, he scored for us in the play off final, gave everything when he was here and he gets sour people like you slating him because he's in a team that outplayed us. shame on you....

Season ticket / ambassador mate, I have never been a fan of Taylor, very dodgy. My opinion on Turner is not of last season.. I thought he was very good in the Championship, my opinion is of him this season.

As I understand things, Man U wanted him back, but he chose to come to Cardiff because of Ole. First team football and all that. I see him very much as a Ramsey type of player, and he isn't exactly lightning quick, is he?

Agree about Wilfred. He wants to go home? I'll pay for the ****ing petrol.

Agree on the whole, but leaving your home town club in those circs is pretty ****ty. He didn't need to do that.

It would be a decent shout to say that if Ole goes, Daehli will as well.

I like him a lot, but the Championship is far more physical than the Prem - if Daehli is still with us, he'll need to learn that fast. He won't be allowed to run around like he has been lately - he'll get clobbered.
