For all we know Allam when he made his application gave them hard facts and information with regards to sponsors/investment etc. If it's anything that will benefit the FA (in terms of money) you know what the answer will be. I will make an observation on this idea of changing the club name. I have been home now for four weeks after a 5 week holiday in Thailand. My wife and I went all over Thailand and one thing I wanted to do was go to all the markets and large shopping outlets when I visited some of the larger citys. I was in Thailand just after we got promoted the first time and I did the same thing. In that time between winning promotion and my going on hols they had produced City shirts all over the place. They were not the real thing but you could buy the copy version all over the place. In some of the proper shops in the large shopping centres there were the real shirts on sale. This time round I never saw one shirt on sale. That tells you all you need to know about this flawed idea. Everyone remembers Hull City but even though the nickname is obviously very synonomous over there, no one was interested in little old Hull City. So where these two get the idea that all of a sudden we change to Hull tigers and then start making money in the Far East is beyond me. Im afraid all you see over there are Man Utd shirts, Chelsea shirts, Man City shirts and the occasional Arsenal, Spurs shirts. As for the rest of the Prem forget it.
