Tbf it probably should have ended 1-0 too us, theirs shouldn't have counted and if it hadn't then IMO we wouldn't have got that second pen, we did deserve too win but West Ham certainly made it hard for us so fair play too them for that. Good result for you lot today Tobes, would ****ing love it if you beat Arsenal to that 4th spot
The future is looking good for these little fellers. please log in to view this image Long may it continue.
i thought first you meant bad hair but then i realised you were talking about future of merseyside football.
What were you expecting War & Peace? Looked a **** game from the highlights, Carroll's assault on Mignolet was funny, no foul, lol. You lot are aiming to be the first side in history to win the League title on penalties (seeing as you've won everything else with them ffs)
You had any more dreams about Stevie G with the trophy yet blue? Good result for your lot yesterday (good job us Reds ain't bitter eh )
it'd only be a foul if the keepr's name was howard eh tobes? In any other game, foul all day.. in europe if you breathe on a keeper... foul... not saying its right or wrong just that it is the case. same as other pen. if it were coleman or baines... pen all day. just cos a keeper "touches" it doesn't mean its not a foul. that not the rule!
Can we get something clear. The goalie didn't touch it! By that i mean that he made no deliberate movement with his arm that resulted in his stopping or deflecting the ball. When Flanno nudged the ball forward the goalies arm was going over the top of the ball until it bounced up. Therefore, in terms of action and intent the ball has nothing to do with the foul. The foul was commissioned when the goalie ensured that his follow through ensured that Flanno could not regain the ball.
No mate, it was a foul and the keepers name was Mignolet, I thought I'd made that obvious by using the word 'assault', seemingly not..... The other one was never a pen, the keeper got the ball and Flannagan didn't have it under control, he just threw himself over the keepers challenge. You'd have been screaming Blue murder if you got a crucial one against you, like that ffs.
Both looked like stonewallers to me Carroll should of been sent off and made to pay back the £35m we spent on his transfer fee.
Both looked expensive to me. What we talking, £5000 per penalty? £10k? Surely the refs are worth more than that. What the **** can they buy on that peasants bribe.
At least we now know what was really in those envelopes last season. Cash. "ere lads, pass these to the ref"
