Cheers pal, I'd done a bit more research and pretty much found out what you've said. Least someones finally answered my question though Any other suggestions for the kids being able to watch TV/films in their room? I have no digital ariel and if I did, their TV doesn't have built in freeview so would cost for that too. They are not keeping my xbox and the two media players I've got them have burnt out due to over use. My last resort is buying them a DVD player and converting everything for them but not keen on this option either.
I'm not stupid enough to actually pay for it! It's 'Mania so it's worth a look even if WWE is garbage these days. Should be something of a spectacle though and I've a day off tomoz so can afford to stay up.
True, always feel they are squeezing as much as they can into the time but there is a lot more they could show/explore. Guess it was just a standard laying out the pieces on the chess board / here's where we're up to ep though. I do wonder what will happen when they catch up to the books though.
Old 40" Samsung plasma (in kids room because the screens cracked slightly). No USB point, built in media player or freeview. Got a 23" HD TV connected to PC because I watch films on there with headset, that has freeview so may give them that and I'll go back to my 19" monitor.
I would recommend a DVD player with USB port. I got one for the 17 year old and she uses it to play music and also movies I got a Panasonic one, easiest thing is look at argos online and pick one
Anyone watching Britain's Got Talent? I know it's a load of **** etc, but it is a good laugh in these early stages. You get some right nutters
The mrs (not married) as it on. Only reason I've not gone in the other room is because I'm waiting for my burger & kebab to be delivered!
Can you not wait for it to be delivered in a different room? I only ever watch this and xfactor in the early rounds when you get the **** people on. Some of them are quite cool though, think it was last years winner that do the shadow pictures which are on a few adverts now as well etc. Still can't beat someone turning up thinking they are the next Beyoncé or MJ and getting the shock of their life when they're told they are awful
Mad Men back on tonight. But I hear they're doing that ridiculousness where the last season is split in half with a year or whatever in between. It's only telly, it's not that important/good!
Someone just posted a link on FB to the 80 year old granny dancing. All the way through I was just thinking don't kill her, don't kill her. Pretty amazing though at that age. GoT was brilliant last night, knew it was gonna get nasty for someone at some point - too much foreshadowing/suggestion - but couldn't have predicted that. The first episode of Mad Men was also good, kind of a catch up although not such a big jump in time since the last season, looking forward to the rest.
