Do they really think a new manager will make the difference with 5 games left to play? With 4 of them being Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and United?
Rumours are Delia shouted out..."Lets be having you" ....then threw the clapper which bounced off Hughton's nut..
Norwich City FC ‏@NorwichCityFC 16m Neil Adams has replaced Chris Hughton as #NCFC first-team manager. Read the full statement here: http://norw.ch/Adams
Find it hard to believe. Mail Online have got it wrong before. 5 points ahead of Fulham who they play on Saturday. Utter madness. Edit: ok, looks like Mail Online have got it right!
Looks like they are going to gamble on the new manager effect and go balls out against Fulham before they play the last 4 killer games and bank on getting a point out of them. Would put them on 36 points, which is being touted as the safety mark this year. Itchy ring time in East Anglia.
Big gamble obviously. If they end up needing any points from those last 4 games, you'd want someone in there with at least a shred of experience.
That squad should be 'too good' to go down but they're bloody close to it. I really don't rate him as a manager. Nice bloke though.
Could be quite a shrewd move actually, how many times does a new manager come in and win his first game? If they can cash in on the new manager effect on Saturday at Fulham they'll be almost safe, on the other hand you wouldn't fancy them at all in their current demoralised state under Hughton.
Bizarre decision. Playing Fulham away next week, a must win considering they'll likely lose their remaining four to the top sides. Reeks of panic.
Madness. A win at Fulham and they would be almost safe. A big call I know but at times like this it's **** or bust. Kin'ell this was us once.
I told one of their lads in Walton Street car park after we beat them back in August with 10 men 'you'll go down'. I now wish I had the balls to put some brass on it..Looks nailed on now and as if they are planning for next season as Leicester's replacement.
