This goes with what I said, he is excessively proud. How many times has he gone with the "prove our critics wrong" shtick to the media? The fans want Arsenal to improve the right way, not in the way that proves Arsene's methods/ideologies right. Couldn't give a **** about his pride in his methods.
Oh give it up. You want two more seasons of humiliation and mediocrity? Why are you so scared of change? It is possible to perform better with a new manager you know. Look at Mourinho, hell, look at Wenger when he first arrived! Wenger out.
Give up what? That's my opinion of what wenger will do in regards to a new contract. And I can't see the club getting rid of him so that's what I think will happen. And while I'm aware that someone could do better, they could also do worse. And to give the best chance of success upon changing managers we are better off taking our time to evaluate the candidates over a period of time and get the best person for the job. We can also use the time to make sure everything is in best possible conditions to hand over to a new manager. It's not being afraid of change it's having a sensible approach to change. Everyone knows wenger will go at some point soon, just some of us think getting rid of him ASAP and hoping someone else does better isn't the best approach. Wenger has shown he can keep us stable near the top and provided he does that and gets the squad into a healthy position for his successor, then great, if he can add a trophy or two in that time even better. I'd like to see how both klopp and Martinez do over the next couple of seasons and consider if guardiola will be looking to make a move to English football. Make a short list, begin enquiries in the summer, watch the candidates over the next couple of seasons and have a deal in place well before the end of wengers final season so that everything remains settled.
where are all the people that were defending him all day ? after another humiliating loss they are no where to be seen. HYPOCRITES . #singwhenyourwinning
Is anyone really surprised at today's result? I was easily seeing an Everton victory if they played to form. Wenger as I was imagining made no changes and couldn't get his players motivated enough to perform against an important rival. Nothings really changed amd nothing will change if Wenger stays next year. Wenger no longer is competitive enough against the best managers and the new up coming ones like Martinez.
I think we've looked shaky since the Palace game. Everton have definitely improved and are on a roll, we know we're poor away to quality sides so I'm not surprised by the defeat, I am surprised at the manner of the defeat - no fight, no desire and no plan B. Anyone thinking we're a shoo in for the Cup think again, all the pressure is on us and we're the worst form side of the 4 entering semi final weekend....
But you dont even agree that it IS thin ....you deny the thin-ness and THEN posting derogatory comments about those who choose not to support the terrible tactics If you have the opposing views to mine or anyone elses that fine . But some people make comments like " ooo your not old enough to remember worse times " Those comments are beyond silly , they basically calling people liars , and for a mod to call members liars just because they dont agree with them is despicable , he should reconsider wether he is suitable to moderate , he is NOT impartial enough .
Show me a quote where someone has posted the comment "oo your not old enough to remember worse times"
For me it's not just Everton being on a roll but top opposing managers working out Wenger. I still think the players on the pitch were good enough to compete with Everton for a result, but they simply didn't have the required direction or motivation from the manager. This is the reality but some don't want to accept anything less from the great Wenger of yesteryear.
Show me one quote where I've called anybody a liar ? I can now safely say that you are full of **** though
